Shifty was possibly busy with his own record. I'm kinda surprised Dave is on every track. I know it's his thing but I still didn't expect that.

Well Shiflett is in the movie & from the looks of the trailer not every jam recorded on film made it onto the soundtrack so maybe he was just unlucky. Butch Vig tweeted about recording dual drum kits with Omar Hakim & that's not on there.

Weird. Why Pat instead of Chris on the tracks?

I'm curious about February 2013 for the movie as well, the Sundance website seems to suggest Jan 18th is the premiere.

Reminds me of the old Filter artworks.

I find it real weird also. I hope that the jams he was part of just didn't make the cut and that this doesnt confirm my gut feeling of Shifty not really having found his place in the FFs. I mean, the way he's sometimes introduced onstage and the minimal amount of press he's done concerning FF is also weird to me.

I have suspicions that these sessions could be released in multiple volumes.

This should be a double album, the John Foggerty song is not listed there too. I thought the same about the Shifty thing but probably his songs did not make the cut.
