Great show!!

We were so close to the stage-I wanted give big big hugs to Dave!! (((XXX)))
love him!! He has the most unbelievable energy WOWW!! My heart hurt -he played so hard!! You couldn't help but break out in a sweat for him!
There were a couple of out of control fans there but that ended quickly thankfully. The crowd was great and the energy on our end of the stage (Dave's left ) was charged! Great fun dancing and watching everyone have a good time!
Mini Mansions has a new sound that I liked -sort of Beatlesque-Pink Floyd-Oasis-ish interesting play with harmony and dissonance -I like what was done with guitar-nice effect. Josh did more of that in his performance. I read in a post that Josh was sick-you couldn't tell-he was great.
Alaine was tops -awesome

JPJ brought out his weapons of mass entertainment!! :D One surprise after another! I was on cloud nine enjoying every song-especially his organ solo.

My Brother's girl-friend said Josh is very handsome!!;) She was a virgin TCV/Foo Fighter/QOTSA concert goer- I'm getting everyone to go. She swears that the Foo Fighters did a cover song of Back street Boys -in their underwear!! LOL
I think I would remember that! We wee laughing so hard we were crying at her insistence of this to be true. My brother has an injured hip I was worried about him but, he said he wouldn't have it any other way and had a great time!

Click above, my friend got some shots- click above. Might not be great quality-enjoy
photobucket virgin:rolleyes:
If anyone else has pix/vids please post! thanx!
We had a fantastic time!!

Wish I was able to make the NYC show...

Went to the show last night-
Dave looked VERY, VERY HAPPY behind those drums.
And Josh-very mesmerizing with those hips of his. Hard to decide who to film/photograph!!
JPJ-was like he had a magical toybox-kept pulling out one after one musical instrument.
These guys really look like they are enjoying themselves.

DID NOT care for opening band-too mellow for me. Did sound Beatlesque to me too.

We were upstairs in the bar area-took lots of pics/video. Will post both.

If someone could just seed it/them long enough for me to grab 'em, I'd be happy to seed them from then on out. Pretty pleeeease. :)

There are currently 73 seeders, so if you can't connect to them i'd bet your ports are blocked. You need to open them. For more info on how to do this see here - http://www.portforward.com/english/r...outerindex.htm Find your router and follow the instructions.

Yeah that's most likely it because I have been seeding this ever since I got it.

Re: Phillie-10/12/09

All right, this is just odd. It's still saying there are no seeds available. I haven't changed any settings on my end, and it's just finished downloading another torrent successfully so it's not like I'm not accepting incoming connections or anything....guess I may have to try to mess around some more and figure this out tomorrow. Argh.

Thanks so much. I'm willing to try anything at this point and I do have a new router, so that's probably causing some of the issue. I just can't figure out why I'm downloading a different Foo torrent successfully even as I type this, but none of the TCV ones will work.

Yeah definitely looks like a firewall problem. When you highlight one of the torrents, what does it say underneath for status under transfer?

Grrrrrr....dammit, that's what I bet the problem is. It says that there was a failure because I need to up my share ratio by .02 before it will allow more downloads. Bastard. I have been driving myself INSANE for the last like 5 days trying every possible solution I could possibly come up with...the fact that it was allowing some downloads but not others just didn't make sense to me.

ETA: Found it on ZOMB; am downloading it now. Am very happy. :D Well, am happy other than feeling like a big ol' loser for begging someone to seed these for me when the reason I couldn't get to them was because I hadn't seeded enough myself. In my defense, almost a terabyte of Foo & related stuff went down the toilet this summer when my POS Seagate external hard drive opted to eat itself, so I no longer have much to upload/seed. I did find 5 sizable things (Brixton from 95 and some other stuff) that I'll be merrily seeding away in the morning, though. :)

Re: Phillie-10/12/09

Ahh, when i saw your torrent icons were red rather than green I thought that might be the issue. What I do, and what's worth bearing in mind for the future, is I always leave my torrents running long after i've downloaded them so i seed to atleast 1:1. The ratio on Dime is only 0.25, so for a 400MB torrent you only need to upload 100MB back, which shouldn't take too long.

Also another tip, it's better to only have a maximum of three torrents running at any one time, any more than that and your bandwidth just gets thrown around them randomly and it will take longer to download them all in the long run.

:)

EDIT: Oh, that's a different, not quite as good recording on Zomb btw.

Dammit, and I was all excited I'd found a temporary workaround and everything. Way to rain on my parade, Simon. ;)

I'll go get the "real" recording from Dime as soon as I'm able to again.
