Your ideal touring line up for Album #7

For me, i'd say the usual four, and Pat, with Pat helping Dave out on songs so he can concentrate more on singing.

Lots of people diss the extra members of the touring band, but does anyone want them to stay?

Rock tour: Dave, Tay, Nate, Chris
*hoping* Acoustic tour: Dave, Tay, Nate, Chris, Rami, Drew, Jesse, Pat

I think Rami could stay as well. And it was me who mentioned keeping Pat on so Dave could focus more on vocals. :D
I think Rami could fit in the same sort of capacity as Boom Gaspar (Pearl Jam)

Ah yes, it would be so good if they did an acoustic tour aswell! I doubt it though, I think Dave is pretty fond of mixing and mashing :/

Big Me needs to be speeded back up, and take away the female vox!

Ah was it? :)

I knew someone planted that idea in my head! I wholeheartedly agree.

Yeah Big Me sort of needs to be dropped from the set completely not a massive fan of it anymore. Petra is also my lady of choice over Jesse. She has more a history with the band. (And apparently she is going to be on the next Twilight Singers album :) )

Yeah man, Big Me has lost it's geeky, parody of cheesy rock charm and is now just plain cheesey and awful.

I wouldn't mind seeing just the four this time around, but maybe a few dates with the others in the lineup every so often wouldn't be a big deal either.

And I think Dave should stick to both singing and playing the guitar personally. He's not a pure lead singer, and it doesn't suit him in the stage presence facotr either. I'd rather hear an "ALLLLRIIGHTTTT!!!!" every so often than see him just standing there trying to hit every note and word absolutely perfect.

I agree, I thought he looked kind of lost during Ramble On in the Wembley DVD without an instrument in front of him, he looked like he wasn't quite sure what to do with his hands so he alternated between air guitar and air drums :D

Doesn't it sort of depend on how the album turns out? =o

I'm hoping for just the fourpiece, though.

Oh no he definitely shouldn't be without a guitar, he would look totally lost, but if Pat plays rhythm aswell it would let Dave to be able to sacrifice a few chords (particularly in chorus's) for a better sounding vocal overall.

Pat can stay but the other extra members HAVE to go. We don't need any more Foo songs with keyboards and strings.
