Re: Annual Shirts?

Yeah, I've just had a play with that on the store. Seems daft that one item if £6, and if I add a T-shirt it more than doubles the shipping though. I don't want it that much.

Ah, thanks. I looked to see of there was already a thread but couldn't see it.

Yes, this is from the UK store to UK. Can only get it as signed courier delivery. Its nearly the price of the globe....

Re: Cool or Uncool...

Where what you want. No fucking law, don't judge others if they wear a band's shirt to see the band

Re: Annual Shirts?

Jumping in, I want to get a snow globe, but I'm not paying nearly £16 in shipping for it!

Re: Scalpers and touts asking for presale codes?

I think this was the first time that ordering through the official store got you access to presale codes, so it wasn't necessarily something to look out for when preordering and I think a lot of...

Re: New here and need some help, how to pre-sales work

Depends - sometimes it'll appear the day before the sale, or the night before. Sometimes you may have signed up to the list too late, but not always.

Re: Scalpers and touts asking for presale codes?

Exactly. There's a reason you have to sign up for these things. And sometimes it doesn't work, but there's also a reason I'm signed up for the mailing lists I want with at least four separate email...

Re: How We all became mega-fans

Yeah. TrueFan™ presale is where all the cool kids are

Learn To Fly. And then here. And then I actually made friends with people here. And it's kind of stuck even now.

I'm in the denial stage where I've convinced myself there isn't really a Welsh date, it was just a mock up.

Check out Twickets as well. Not sure if you can use it from abroad but its worth a check.

Re: Uk tour tickets already on resale sites for £300

Oh they will, for sure. I'm under no illusions that anything will work 100%, they're that determined. But anything that will help to cut it down will help/

Re: Uk tour tickets already on resale sites for £300

As mentioned on the other thread in there, while the official sites have their own resale sites where people can sell for as much as they want then they'll never help to stop it.

Re: Uk tour tickets already on resale sites for £300

My personal view is that until it's made illegal to resell tickets to events like this above face value, then it won't really stop anything.

Re: Dave Grohl- please do something about this?

I've definitely seen it done at smaller venues with success. In theory, there's ways around it for touts, but they'll always find a way no matter what. It's a case of finding the way that helps...

Re: Dave Grohl- please do something about this?

Well that's true. I get the desperateness to see your favourite band, but it's never worth that much money.

Re: Dave Grohl- please do something about this?

They did named tickets for the 02 and got roundly slated for it. Difficult to please everyone.

Re: June 2018 - Manchester and London, UK (Please read FAQs)

It's always possible they could have been removed, but I doubt it.

Agreed. There were opportunities to get presale codes through official channels. They tried to ensure that only 'genuine fans'...

Re: June 2018 - Manchester and London, UK (Please read FAQs)

Yep. It can take time for some of the rejected tickets to find their way back into the system. Sometimes a payment doesn't get rejected for a while, or the company will go in and cancel orders for...

Re: June 2018 - Manchester and London, UK (Please read FAQs)

Always keep refreshing way after they say sold out because some will come back about 90% of the time.

Re: June 2018 - Manchester and London, UK (Please read FAQs)

Acutally yes, Planet Rock said they were selling as well this morning. The allocations for each outlet can't be that big (apart from the main two I guess)

Re: June 2018 - Manchester and London, UK (Please read FAQs)

I've been to a few of those at Swansea. It's actually quite nice having a big gig just down the road! They need to work on their organisation at getting people out of the stadium though.

Re: June 2018 - Manchester and London, UK (Please read FAQs)

 I know - I'm English and I live in Wales - I like to take the mick out of my Welsh friends a lot, particularly around Rugby time!! I think the band is probably big enough round here now that...

I'm from Devon, I understand the lack of anything interesting music wise going on! But yes, Cardiff is easier to get to.
