Re: too loud?

I don't know how much custom molded ones would be, not cheap I'd imagine, but the Senner brand are a good option at a reasonable price. I used to have a pair but lost them, they really don't...

Re: Dave Grohl - Play

I know pretty much zip about the technicalities of music but I think they really like that chord progression. It, or something very similar is in a lot of stuff, Foo songs and stuff like 'Too Far...

Re: Dave Grohl - Play

Very cool to, er, play with a DG recording like this. A rare treat. Shame that the isolated videos are only 360p though, not sure if that's intentional or if HD versions are still cooking, since it's...

Re: Sonic Highways- Seattle Episode

He digitized all his reels years ago, 2004 I think he said. Maybe even earlier. He only played with the actual reels on the show for entertainment purposes, it looked better for them to be handling...

Re: Dave Grohl - Play

Dave and Taylor have both alluded to it indirectly a few times, but I think this is the only time it was referred to directly -...

Re: Dave Grohl - Play

I may be misremembering but I think he said somewhere that 607 was for purely video filming projects, and not set up for recording music.

Re: Shit That Will Make You Cry...

Are you sure? I mean you obviously know better than me but when I was investigating this show years ago trying to ID people I was told the guy in yellow plugging something into the wall was Greg...

Re: Guitar pics for sale?

That is indeed always the problem, your best bet for success is to see if the account is one selling hundreds of different picks, or seems to be a business. Those are most likely to be fake, whereas...

Re: Dave has plans for a “secret project”

Dave on Jimmy Kimmel tomorrow as well. It could be something else Dave/FF related, but I think this thing is surely more likely.

Re: Shit That Will Make You Cry...

Wow, you really do have a lot of clutter now don't you.

Thanks for that picture from the first gig, do you/Tim know if Jeff took any others? If those two previously circulating photos are his? I...

Re: Once And For All

It's considered a demo and sounds different not because of mixing and mastering differences, but because it would've been recorded in pre-production, when they just play through songs as a full band...

Re: Post your Foo Fighters Vinyl Collection

It says extremely limited import, so I'd guess they're just getting an unsold box of the shipped in. I think if it were a reissue, more places would have it listed.

Re: Quick question for those going to Toronto concert July 12th.

If curfew is 11pm then I'd expect them on at 8 or 8:15pm.

Re: Floaty

I'm not really sure it'd work without his girly voice. That's why he got Petra to do it in 1996, and then again on the acoustic tour in 06.

Re: Quick question for those going to Toronto concert July 12th.

They usually tweet the official stage times the morning of the show. Anywhere between 8 and 9 is pretty common.

Re: Good Grief???

The assumption is that the extended jams and drum solos are to give Dave's voice a rest throughout the show, but it's always just been an assumption. AFAIK no band member has really discussed it.
