Re: "Official band announcement tomorrow night."

Being as this is the first (and probably only) year I've got tickets for Glastonbury, please please please let it be an announcement to headline Saturday night!!!

Re: MK Bowl Show times???

'Twas 11.00 finish last time FF played the MK Bowl in 2011. And don't expect the Council to have any clue what's happening, as last time some plank authorised M1 motorway works that took it down to...

Re: Will GA at MK Bowl be safe for a kid?

Doff of the cap for taking your kid to a FF show, that's how you educate your children properly in my book!

As has been discussed in other threads, for some reason the MK Bowl seems to attract a...

Re: Cancelled Gigs - what's next? What does the future hold? [Threads Merged]

How were The Cure live? I've just started getting into them. Was never that impressed with their singles, but I'm loving the Pornography and Disintegration albums! Fascination Street is an superb...

Re: Cancelled Gigs - what's next? What does the future hold? [Threads Merged]

A game of cards before a gig and a snog with a stranger? Now that sounds like a good gig story! :)

And that was some throw at Reading, fair play....hope you kept the hat! LoL

Re: Cancelled Gigs - what's next? What does the future hold? [Threads Merged]

I think if you're near to a venue it helps a hell of a lot...even if a show is rubbish, you haven't wasted too much by going. I have a mate who lives in Wembley and he often walks over there and gets...

Re: Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes

Very true, and I've only just noticed that the new dates are actually this year rather than next...d'oh!! So I can see why the band had to grab somewhere/anywhere available to do them this year now....

Re: Cancelled Gigs - what's next? What does the future hold? [Threads Merged]

As long as you accept that it might be a bit moody, you'll still have a good time. Despite the crowd and the journey from hell home for us (1hr 45min drive turned into 7hrs thanks to road works!) we...

Re: Cancelled Gigs - what's next? What does the future hold? [Threads Merged]

Second that! Been to many gigs, but that was the worst show I've been to for fights, cups of piss being thrown, idiots on shoulders, etc.

The poor woman stood next to me got pissed on during Wheels...

Re: Cancelled Gigs - what's next? What does the future hold? [Threads Merged]

Little tip from the last Foos gig there. Park at Milton Keynes Central station; its really easy to get to from the M1, just along A509. From there its just a pleasent stroll through South Loughton...

Re: Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes

Careful, that's far too sensible a suggestion ... Ticketmaster and the like will miss out on screwing us over for more postage, booking fee, service charge costs

Re: Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes

Judging by the complete lack of joined up thinking by companies / local Council / Highways Agency last time, I really wouldn't count on it. Another reason why Wembley was the much better choice.

Re: Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes

There's a main line train station about 15 mins walk from the Bowl.

Key tip if you're driving, park at the station instead of the Bowl so you don't have to sit for hours getting out of the venue....

Re: Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes

Really? The crappy MK Bowl? *sigh*

I can't believe they couldn't find two dates for Wembley next year, its like 14 months away. Wembley isn't perfect but its a lot easier to get to than Milton...

Re: An official live album?

Much prefer the bootlegs myself, providing the quality is good. Official "live" recordings tend to be tinkered with back in the studio too much to remove all those little kinks that actually make a...

Re: Dave signs for Glastonbury in seconds

My mate says she's like a ginger Kate Bush. I can see the similarities. Must admit, I don't like her tendency to drop the end of each line she sings, grates on me a bit.

She's an original though and...

Florence and the Machine are performing "Times Like These" dedicated to DG, acoustic version but not a bad showing!

Re: Dave signs for Glastonbury in seconds

Anyone else lost their enthusiasm to go through this all again? I'm still itching to see the guys, but rather than re-fuel my fire to try and get tickets for whenever they come back, I'm a bit...

Re: Full Wembley cancellation????

Yeah, it sucks and blows big time!

Its the only thing about the whole situation that's annoyed me, the option not to transfer our tickets to new dates, especially as DG has all but confirmed they...

Re: Cancelled Gigs - what's next? What does the future hold? [Threads Merged]

Bloody hell! I don't remember that. We did S&S 2009 at O2, opening night (one of the best concerts I've done...she did a lovely tribute to Wacko Jacko who died a few days before) so probably didn't...

No way! :) Is that the Madonna Tribe website?

So cool that I'm in good company here  :D I've got tickets to Rebel Heart both O2 nights in London and Birmingham. I was chatting with a...
