Re: That post tour come down

If it helps, I think it likely that the Foo's could be entering a different stage in their career, perhaps one where they don't take extended breaks.

It used to be album/tour/break, but I think its...

Re: Reading 2019

Gosh that was a bit disappointing wasn't it? I mean, teasing so much but delivering so little... in terms of the actual setlist, compared to 2012..

I suppose its the same with all bands when they...

Re: Europe 2019

It appears standard Glasgow tickets may have sold out.. VIP still available..

Reading played a crafty one this morning, looks like they didn't initially sell instalment tickets but put them on sale...

Re: Europe 2019

I think this is the most painless I've ever bought tickets for two Foo Fighters gigs in the last 10 years or so!

So it looks like Sunday at Reading is currently the last tour date planned.. could...

Re: Europe 2019

Just realised in the last 9 years, (including next year) I'll have seen the Foo's every year in the UK bar 2... (2013 & 2016) has any other band toured so regularly, of a similar size to Foo's? Maybe...

Re: Europe 2019

Only time I've wished I've had a Barclaycard...

If Sunday can match 2012, it'll be amazing... still ranks in my top 5 Foo gigs..

Re: Europe 2019 (Currently just Germany)

So looking at these new dates Reading is a certainty then? You'd imagine Belfast / Dublin, nice warm ups just before Reading.

Why are Reading tickets off sale?

Re: Europe 2019

This is a good point, less overhead than a normal show.

If I had to guess I'd say BST, and TRSNMT, as they seem more like headline shows, so they'd likely get a better financial return, IOW are...

Re: Europe 2019

Well... these German shows seemed a surprise...

You'd think there would be UK festivals, I mean Download, Reading, IOW, TRNSMT, BST, are all likely candidates for the UK. Though if you're strictly...

Re: June 2018 - Manchester and London, UK (Please read FAQs)

Lets hope... I do think the last 8 years or so they've become such a big touring band, that their tours are bigger than their albums, fairly certain they could tour the UK every two years and it...

Re: June 2018 - Manchester and London, UK (Please read FAQs)

I did wonder when they'd next be back, I saw them August 2012, then, September 2014, last saw them in November 2015, next in June 2017. So its mostly been a couple of years.. however.

They've...

Re: June 2018 - Manchester and London, UK (Please read FAQs)

Last nights poster is already on ebay for 60... wow...

I enjoyed last night's gig better than Antwerp (despite identical set list), and at least the crowd knew some Foo songs, so that made the...

Re: Sportpaleis Antwerp, Belgium - June 11, 2018

I know its perhaps a week late, but I felt that the Antwerp gig wasn't that good, the venue itself has a slope on the left side of standing, which means the floor isn't flat and you cannot see the...

Re: Rock am Ring live stream thread

If this is the case I guess we can expect Taylor to be singing some lead vocals for the next couple of weeks, as I'd be amazed if they cancelled any shows.

In fairness, if they did cancel the next...

Re: Rock am Ring live stream thread

What... a drum riser... isn't that a bit Spinal Tap? Strange for a band that famously doesn't use stage gimmicks... this is weird.

Re: 2018 UK Tour Dates

I was genuinely surprised that the Foo's weren't announced for Reading, that seemed to be their regular fest, their show in 2012 was an absolute classic setlist, Glastonbury was brilliant for other...
