Re: Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes

Be careful with your possessions guys. My wallet went missing and my mate's I-phone also went. We found the case but not the phone.

As I have faith in human nature, I'm assuming they fell out of...

Re: Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes

A mate gave me a tip for entering into a "golden circle" without a wrist band. This can only be done with your "partner" or at least a very willing participant. Wait until there's a reasonable queue...

Re: Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes

I drive south down the A5 Dual Carriage way which runs through MK on my way to work. The directional road signs are now up but are quite small and a bit late (in my opinion).

My advice would be to...

Re: Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes

I've been reading on this that The Bowl at MK is not everyone's favorite location for a show. It's a pretty much purpose built venue with a high stage and banking for a good view. Whilst this would...

Re: Foo Fighters at Milton Keynes

I live in Towcester which is about 13 miles from the MK bowl. There are a few hotel / pubs with rooms which may be available.

I would try these (in the order of best to worst):

Saracens Head
The...

Re: Camping 5 mins from The Bowl, Milton Keynes, 2nd/3rd July 2011

No idea whether they are full or not but try the pubs / hotels in Towcester (15 miles from the bowl). A taxi back from MK station is about 20.

Re: An open letter to the management team behind the Foo Fighters

Thanks Foo'i, I appreciate it. I just didn't understand the sentiment. I'm still a little tired from last night - I think I'm getting old but I'm only a couple of weeks younger than Dave.

Come on...

Foo Fighters are a "brand" - I know people won't like this statement. They are marketed better than any other band you can think off. Some people may think that the management have made a mistake but...

Re: NME Big Gig Wembley

Decision made - driving to Wembley. Too many ifs, &s and buts on the show running time together with the frankly useless post midnight public transport service. I'm simply can't be doing with hanging...

Re: NME Big Gig Wembley

How likely is the gig lasting 2 hrs?

May have to drive instead of the train - Foos or no foos I don't fancy an hour wait at Euston before an extended journey to MK.
