Re: June 2018 - Manchester and London, UK (Please read FAQs)

Yes, they are generally followed at stadiums for crowd control reasons. They want people spread out around the stadium as they enter.

Re: The 24 Club

Nice. It's like the Foo version of QI (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QI). I shall deem it FooI.

Re: Wasting Light Deluxe Packages - Your Numbers Up!

It is. This is a spambot that copies old posts, presumably they try to put the spam link in the signature but our rules prevent it. Anyway, deleted it.

Re: Question about upcoming Nashville show next week...

It varies slightly depending on local/venue curfew time but generally speaking Foo go on stage between 8 and 9, mostly closer to 8. The opener is The Struts.

Re: Concert Audio & Video

Yeah audio taping by fans seems to have dropped off a cliff. 10 years ago when they started their US tour almost every show had at least one recording, and European shows were covered pretty well as...

Re: Why have we not heard No Way Back in 10 years?

It is something you can ask of a lot of the FF catalogue, unfortunately. I mean don't forget, this was a single, and now it can genuinely be considered a deep cut. Super deep cuts, like A320 or...

Re: Concrete in Dolby ATMOS

There is no such thing, as far as I know. It's not released as Blu-Ray audio, the only Hi-Res version available is a digital version at 44.1khz/24-Bit.

Re: Your latest Foo item?!

It's on the Legacy label like the Vinyl reissues a few years ago, which started out US only but then made their way to the UK online store.

Re: Fake Instagram Band Members

Wow, and that first one is even going down the fake donations to help African children route. Scumbags.

Re: CalJam18

Theoretically indeed, that's why I'm hopeful, but you never know what they have planned privately. Especially Dave, he could have another big film project of some sort in the works.

Re: Fake Instagram Band Members

At least the message is so poorly written and unbelievable (candle lit dinner?!) you'd hope people would realise it was a con, and this isn't really a representative of "Mr Pat".

Re: CalJam18

Well they do now, they didn't when I wrote that. :p

Based on really nothing at all but personally I'm hopeful that 2019 will be a Them Crooked Vultures year, what with QOTSA being on a very similar...

Re: The Line as 3rd single?

I feel like I've read it somewhere, but I can't be sure. Might tweet Barrett and ask if he recalls anything.

Re: Download Festival France June 2018

It is definitely true and 100% confirmed, probably just an oversight. June 17th.

Re: Foos re-release Songs from the laundry room as digital download

There was no repress AFAIK, just leftover stock that turned up somewhere.

Re: Wasting Light

That's something else we don't really get these days, acoustic performances. They used to do in-stores or a few radio station things each year, now not so much.

Re: The Line as 3rd single?

Indeed, and neither of the subsequent albums have had any bonus track editions. Slim pickin's these days.

Re: The Line as 3rd single?

Long Road To Ruin, the end of the era. There was Wheels after it but that was the last single with multiple formats and most importantly, B-Sides.

It's not just the studio outtakes and demos we...

Re: Your latest Foo item?!
