Re: 606

"It's just one of those numbers that's everywhere," Grohl says by way of explanation. "like when you wake up in the middle of the night and it's 6:06, or you see a license plate that says...

Re: Europe 2020

Would you want Foo Fighters to play BST?
Look at last years pricing:

£62.50 Guardian Ticket (1 adult + 1 child)

Re: Europe 2020

Ash & Supergass are both doing tours & releasing greatest hits in 2020 to celebrate their 25th anniversaries.
If there was to be a big special FF UK 25 gig, there are your support bands.

Re: Guesses for FF25

I did think the same thing when I saw the Killers announcement because a pre-Christmas on-sale seems to be the norm for most bands when it comes to big UK dates & tours.

Looking back it appears...

Re: The new Spotify live release

Why would they need to? Contractual obligations would long have been fulfilled and they didn't called Live In London Live At iTunes Festival.

Re: The new Spotify live release

Surely the first two zeroes would have to change if they released another set recorded live in any of the same years as previous releases. Otherwise another ESP&G set from 07 would be 00070725...

Re: That post tour come down

I see Supergrass are to announce they've reformed for gigs next year to celebrate 25 years since they released 'I Should CoCo'.

Now, if there was any UK action to celebrate FF25, a band that...

Eek! Re: Reading live stream

It was a little nastier than that article makes it seem. The clip has his saying “the drummer from Nirvana can come up onstage and suck my dick”.

Considering twice in the recent past Noel has named...

Re: Reading live stream

In regards to the covers, I get the ‘Under Pressure’ cover is a voice rest for Dave (not to mention Taylor is fucking great at it & his crowd hype routine). But the percentage of that...

Is there an actual on-stage set list doing the rounds? Was anything dropped?

Re: Reading live stream

Considering the level to which the show had been talked-up - I really could’ve done without the Rick Astley appearance.

But, whatever...

Re: Europe 2019

After seeing the Dublin poster I’m really curious why there wasn’t a Belfast one. I can understand (maybe contractually) why they don’t always have them for headlining multi-day festivals like...

Re: Going to the gig in Belfast!

Urgh!
I take it from the standard show day ‘YOU READY?’ tweet & Facebook post there’s no poster.

Re: Foo Fighters Files

Re: Foo Fighters Files

I said on twitter it's curious numbering - the iTunes show was July 11th, so if you assume 00950025 was so called because it was songs from 1995 it looks like the format is

?? / year / day /...

Re: Foo Fighters Files

Because the 20th coincided with touring Sonic Highways, which had been a bit of an undertaking to record and then had city-specific club gigs, it's easy to see why it didn't happen for the 20th. But...

Re: New album In the works

On the anniversary of their 1st UK gig they tweeted pg2 of a Kerrang! review from my website (the telltale blue line from a dodgy scanner gave it away) asking the attendees interviewed if they wanted...
