Jill that is all great, but in practice doesn't seem to have done anything. I got in to Ticketmaster on the day of sale but TM quoted me $850 for a 3rd row seat, and as I'm unemployed couldn't swing that at all.

I've gone back to the site but no further tix have been released. I'll be outside the venue tonight in the cold listening in the parking lot for whatever emanates through the walls.

If anyone has an extra ticket please just call or text me at 615-584-8634
Thanx

Jill I'm not blaming the band at all. Some of it falls on me but I was an honest mistake by a fan and sadly ticketmaster game me no chance to correct it. Its all circumstance and there are too many moving parts to end up with a positive result here. My problem is with the tickets should have been cancelled in the first 24 hours or let us know there was an issue. That's all ticketmaster, and I get that, and fuck them.

It's also hard not to be totally reminded of a broken heart and extremely frustrating experience by hearing them right now. I'm sure I will have a hard time enjoying the album as I would have before being reminded of that.

I do appreciate and thank you very much for your offer and will remember that.

I've been physically ill with excitement since the moment the official announcement came and once I actually got tickets it was even worse. All I've been able to think about was being there tonight. I can't even describe my current state of mind. Not blaming anyone with the FF and I will continue to love them and their music it's just that right now it would simply hurt too much to listen. There's much worse happening to people in our world and I am doing my best to remember that and end this pity party I'm throwing for myself.

I appreciate the offer Jill and that you care. Thanks.

(((sorry, I said I was done with these depressing post!)))

Just thinking that with all the hacking going on these days it would be nice if a hacker group did something really good socially - melt the Ticketmaster system into a pile of non-recoverable random data.

More use would be viagogo and other secondary ticketing agencies.

It seems everyone here is all doom and gloom about the recent tickets being sold out so fast. They really haven't announced any tour plans yet. THERE WILL BE A TOUR TO SUPPORT THIS CD!

Relax, and just wait for the band to announce large venues for this tour. The band loves to tour and will do so again in a way we can all get tickets soon. Granted a small intimate show would be awesome, but since there is such limited tickets and beyond what I think anybody expected demand many of us are getting nothing. Don't blame the band, chill and it will work out in the long run.

Tell that to all the fans who couldn't get tickets for Wrigley. Hopefully RFK and more stadium shows (that don't use tickets.com) will be announced soon.

I've contacted Ticketmaster & the Ryman to determine what is going to happen to the unused seats. Neither could give a solid answer. I'm taking a chance and driving to Bowling Green, KY (hour away from Ryman) in case any seats should come open. I'll at least know I've given it my best shot. I'm worn from the constant "back & refresh" cycle I've become prey to on the TM app. To those luck few heading to the show, you better rock hard enough for all of us and be safe!!

Everyone please, please remember that Jill and Simon care deeply about this site, the fans and the band. This situation is difficult for everyone all the way around. If you are coming here to just bitch, don't. Please.

I'm getting ready to drive downtown to the Ryman right now in the hope there will be SOME way of scoring a ticket, seeing as the time spent on the TM website has been so futile.

If anyone has a ticket for sale (or know of someone that ha one), please call me at 616-584-8634. I can be there in 20 minutes.
Thanx,
Bill

Did you look at the rules? Check there. If it doesn't have a detachable lens and its a point/shoot, you should be okay....

Ryman says it is ok unless the band says otherwise...

Ryman let each act make that rule, I checked the FAQ's. FF tend not to care as long as it's not a professional. Also, what she said ^

Have fun dear

Right on!

Keepin' it POSITIVE.

Anybody who truly wants to get into the show near them will be able to get in one way or another when they tour in support of the new album. Will you get to see them in a room with 550-3500 people for under $25? That's WAY less likely, maybe damned near impossible, especially because the demand outstrips the supply by thousands of times. Not the end of the world though, but I do empathasize with anybody who played by the rules and had their tickets clawed back.

The secondary markets are preying on the global enthusiasm for the band right now, which is at an insane peak. Wait it out, and things WILL stabilize and become more reasonable. The panic nuyers are the most profitable for the resellers/scalpers.

Calmer heads will prevail.

For those here who DID get in tonight, treasure the experience and rock your asses off.

Well I was also effected by the Wrigley show selling out and not being able to get tickets. I live 2 hours away and would have been more than happy to walk to Wrigley if it came down to it. I am just hoping that there will be a show announced in Gren Bay or Milwaukee? It's not like that this is it and I will never be able to see them. Really, there will be another show in the area of Chicago or Milwaukee for us to go to. Foods were at Summerfest a few years ago, so there is a chance.
