Default Rest of Europe dates this summer are cancelled

Bummer! Sorry for all you guys looking forward to seeing Foo Fighters in Europe this summer - the rest of the dates are now cancelled.

You all know what happened - he fell from stage - and this is what followed:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Syogk-7E9Q

But the show was really great although Dave had to sit down: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FCJXFRgsKSY

Let's hope they'll soon return for those shows. And while they're at it, I wouldn't mind another show in Gothenburg with Dave on his legs.

Cheers!

Currently it's the European Dates this summer. There is no information on any other summer dates. It is misleading.

I think it's quite clear - it's the rest of the EUROPEAN dates THIS SUMMER.
From what I understand no other shows are at risk to be cancelled at this moment. So no US-shows are affected and neither are later European dates affected.

I know it's early days here, but what does happen with situations like this where events are cancelled ?

Do we keep our tickets and wait for new ones to arrive in the post for dates they choose, or we choose?

If something is cancelled outright - you get your $$ back minus a booking fee.
If something is rescheduled - you choose to either accept tix for the new date, or you can have your $$ back. Minus the booking fee.

I believe the ticket agencies that you purchased through should have information shortly.

Could have sworn it said something different. Chill. I hate it when people use all caps. DON'T GET YELLY AT ME. It's been a tough day.

If it's rescheduled, is it likely that our original tickets for the old date would remain valid for entry? Rather than being refunded and then attempting to purchase new tickets for a new date. Never experienced this before so I'm just a bit confused!

They won't re-issue tickets. The old ones will be valid for the new date.

The injury will take months to heal fully. That said, we may get an immobilized Dave for the U.S. shows. I'm thinking his goal right now is to make it to the DC celebration and see how that goes. Safe to say, he won't be playing the drums.

Yeah I'm hoping DC show is a go. Me and 5 friends are on for DC.

No worries Jill, wasn't yelling or upset at all, just used caps to be clear. (I did read the original post again just to make sure but couldn't see any reason for misleading.) Hope today is a better day then!

If one read this: http://foofighters.com/operation

From my understanding they have cancelled, not rescheduled or postponed. And for them to honor tickets of course they would really have to reschedule or postpone the existing one. So most likely - it's money back.

Maybe the cancellation status is just because it's hard to find available dates in existing tour that works for both band and stadiums? And I'm guessing some of these places aren't really fit for concerts with fall/winter weather?

But there's a small glimmer of hope in what he continues with after declaring the cancellation:
"We’re doing our best right now to work out a plan, so bear with us. You know we’re good for our word."
