Not a bad trade-off. La Dee Da was awesome. And will likely never be played live again after this tour, since it isn't a single.

Thank you for all the kind words people. I think sitting on a train, and being by myself most of today, just gave me far too much thinking time. And with the gig over, the end of my week off almost over, and seeing that lookalike, just things were not easy.

So now I can look back on what was an awesome weekend otherwise. Look back at an amazing gig and start from tomorrow making plans for the future.

We were in the right hand pit, saw that middle-aged guy someone mentioned earlier start about three fights during the night, another younger lad who looked off his face on pills spilling beer on everyone and generally pissing everyone off and two women who were drunkenly shouting and chatting shit the entire gig, and a lot of people who weren’t even singing along? Odd. Other than that a great night!

I agree with whoever said they seemed to be trying to save Daves voice, thought they could have easily got another three songs in if they’d wanted.

Agree the organisation was shambolic, person I was with fainted whilst we were queuing and it took the medics about twenty minutes to arrive and they were so useless!

Shoutout to the muppets who brought inflatable flamingo and tiger stick things at the front right hand barrier - they’re in all my photos!!!

Lets hope... I do think the last 8 years or so they've become such a big touring band, that their tours are bigger than their albums, fairly certain they could tour the UK every two years and it wouldn't matter if they had an album out.

What a week! Need a break now to get my voice back, am very croaky. Was so good to meet so many of you!

On Friday I was on the rail to the left of the walkway and on Sat at the front, but had a camera blocking the view of the stage which was a bit annoying. Wasnt gonna move though! Friday the view was perfect in every way!

Its hard to choose which night I liked better, I definitely preferred the supports on Friday. Frank Carter is awesome as always and I'm one of the few who actually liked wolf alice! Starcrawler were just awful, I don't think that act was appropriate for 5pm on a saturday. As for slapping the crowd, nope. We hid behind the rail so she couldn't slap us. The Kills were just a bit dull, I started to snooze off. Slaves were great though. I'd have preferred wolf alice, slaves then frank carter as the supports (in that order) on both days.

I got a set list on friday too, not sure if I mentioned that! Anyone in my vicinity was quite aware as I was bouncing like a toddler hopped up on e numbers

Glad I'm got qotsa on Sat, think thats stopping the blues kicking in I had said this week was gonna be the best week ever, and that was before I ended up meeting half the band and getting a set list!

You can listen to it on the Radio X player if you click the 'Listen Again' tab... that's exactly how I'm spending my Monday at work, trying to avoid the FOo blues

Foo blues is real.

Just got myself Smashing Pumpkins tickets for October to try and cheer myself up, but so far it's not filling the huge Grohl-shaped hole in my life.

The only thing that can save me now is CalJam tickets.. strongly considering them right now..

Side note- is anyone going to QOTSA/Iggy Pop next weekend? Reckon there might be a chance of a Foo appearance there...?? Or am I just filling myself with false hope?

Very unlikely they will still be around.

Not doing this gig but going to The Cure instead in two weeks.

I have the good luck to be taking my family on holidays to Seattle and Oregon last 3 weeks of August.

The bad luck is that i leave Seattle the day the Foos play there. My daughter has asked can we delay our flights home - its so tempting but probably too expensive.
