Default Band On The Run

Just heard on Radio 1 that they are celebrating their 40th birthday by bringing out a CD with 40 bands playing covers.

Foo's will be doing Band On The Run. Am I right in saying that they did this at Dingwalls?

Not sure when the release date is so if anyone hears anything can you let me know?!?!

I wasn't familiar with the song beforehand, but it seemed to go down well. Did the original justice apparently.

If I see then name Paul McCartney on something, I try to avoid it.
I'm not really a Beatles fan, so I'm even less likely to be interested in Wings.

It was fantastic when they did it as an encore at Manchester with an 11yr old boy playing guitar! Baker Street takes me back to some very good times indeed back in the late 70s.........!

It was in the encore at the Manchester gig on 3rd November ths year. The kids was amazing! Imagine at that age getting to play with a band at a live gig like that! Apparently you can register your kid's name on the Foo's myspace and they may get chosen to play at a gig!

Sorry if I missed that
I would love to hear them do "Battle of Evermore" or "Kashmir" LIVE.

I know they would sound awesome...I just think they're all that good!
