It would be great if they set up in the middle like Metallica did at Rod Laver was the best set up...especially for GA ppl not squashy at all...

I can't see any seating plans etc for concerts, just the general rugby plan, do you think it will be the same? I would think by looking at the pics of the ground then setting up in the middle would be fantastic! Seats would be a long way back though maybe? I want to go GA but l have a friend who may be coming that has to go seated due to an injury so l am sussing all options.

Edit to add Aus foo l just saw your link above, its different then what l was looking at. I would think 2 shows.

I checked out the terms and conditions for the ticket give aways on triple M, it tells you the total value of the prize (2 tickets = $220) ...is that safe to assume that $110 will be the selling price?

I would say they are leaving the option open for a 2nd show, hope so hehe.
Frontier mentioned something about gold GA but it never went into detail what it is.
$110 is a really good price if that's true.

Yeah if you have to include airfares it makes a difference for sure, l am lucky Melbourne is about a 1.5 hr drive away. I would say silver seating will be the top section of the stand?

I don't know about everyone else but I feel sick to the stomach when I think about trying to get tickets, I'm so freaking nervous! But I'm getting tickets no matter what I have to do/pay!

Anyone got any advice for me? I'm a first time pre-saler and if you guys all say you're worried you won't get tickets, I'm just a bit shit scared! I've already booked all my flights and accommodation to go to every show (bar Perth)!

I suggest you make sure you're comfortable and don't need to use the toilet or anything and get ready at least 15 mins before the presale time. There will be loads of people hitting the site at once so be signed up/logged in already (sign up now if you haven't already) and have your credit card details handy or, even better (this is what I do), use a form pre-filler or type your CC details into a text file. That way you can just copy and paste it in when the time comes and you've got no mucking about to do.

If the site dies, have Ticketek/master's number handy as a backup. Don't be afraid to keep trying the site if you get timed out messages though. Just don't refresh every 2 seconds because it's 100,000 people doing that at once that makes it crash.

Just be patient and if you miss out remember there's always general public sales next Monday. I wish you the best of luck securing the tickets you need. I am also shitting myself about the whole thing.

When I tried to get GA for the 2005(?) tour I couldn't. I ended up with seats half way back by the time I got over not being able to get GA and deciding anything was better than nothing. So stranger things have happened. And I reckon there's easily enough Foos fans in each state willing to make a mad dash to get tickets. I hope I'm not jinxing myself here. :\

Was weird last tour I missed the presale due to work and came home and tried about 4ish and got awesome tickets.. just luck I guess..

I want seat but not miles away tho...
thats why RL arena is so good u can get good seats and for someone about 5 foot 2" GA isnt any good unless u can get a rail somewhere..

Just got an email saying tickets prices STILL havent been finalised!!!

Wonder what the hold up is!?

I think this is Stade de AAMI's 1st concert (there was a FREE ALF afterparty held once), so they probably cant calculate how much is needed to run the show.
