"Oh, my God, that song's about 15 different things! The only reason why it's called 'Hey, Johnny Park!' is because when I was young, my best friend was this kid who lived across the street from me called Johnny Park and we were like brothers from the age of 5 to 12. I haven't heard from him since I was about 14 years old and I thought if I named a song after him he might call."

First time I read that I understood that the song was called after the street where they lived, not the actual guy. But anyways, I'm curious.. if someone ever asks Dave that please tell me.

It's not his bio, but it is about about Dave. A crappy one.
It's called "Dave Grohl - Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Other Misadventures" by Martin James.
Don't waste your money on it, all you need to know you can find here on this site. Plus, it's uber boring.

Hi I was seeing if anything was in the web about me. I'm Johnny Park. I live in Virginia ,still and I'm not in real estate. David and I grew up in North Springfield, and he was my best friend. The reason I haven't called him is because I don't want to intrude. I still love that bastard. I hang out with some of the guys I recently met. I can call if I want, but I'm sure he's busy.

Glad to be of service. If you're going to impersonate someone on the internet, first thing you do is lots of research on who you're impersonating. If this person had done that he would know that Johnny Park did get in touch with Dave.

Plus, you put a few of these in: and make it kinda sarcastic. Unless you really ARE Mr. J. Park.... Then you have to give us every detail of his youth; when he started to use the F word, what he wore, did he like PBandJ, when did he learn to ride a bike, his pet's names, first girlfriend, that kind of thing.

(Hey, I'm joking. No private stuff. Seriously, no private stuff.)

There has to be so many people named John Park out there, can you imagine how often they get asked, "hey did you know there's a song called..."

Dave Grohl writing an autobiography. That's a laugh.

If he ever did such a thing, it would just be a list of 100,000 or more of off the wall goofy statements.

The title would be, "Horshack! I don't know; it's like so wee'yud
