Disenchanted lullaby. Had to hear it quite a few times before I could get into it, now that I did take the time to listen, I really enjoy it now.

hmm... one of the first that comes to mind is long road to ruin. i wasn't crazy about that song at first but know i like it quite a bit.
also i didn't really care for most of one by one, but i've been listening to it more recently and there are some solid songs on there. still not my favorite album of the foos by a long shot but it's not bad.

"Over And Out." At first I did not like this song at all, but it grew on me and is one of my favorites. I struggle with "Friend Of A Friend" and "Miracle" and I'm not sure why. There are tracks on One By One that I still don't like, and there are also tracks on ESPG that have not gelled for me. Some of the songs on the first album I had to grow into, "Exhausted" comes to mind. "Hey, Johnny Park!" really did not work for me at first. That song DOES NOT sound like the Foos, it sounds like Third Eye Blind or one of those 90s bands.

The Foo Fighters are a 90's band aren't they? 3eb have made some simmilar songs.

They are indeed. I meant to say one of those generic bands from the latter portion of the decade that had a hit, or two if they were lucky, before slipping into the ether.

when I first heard everlong I didn't like it, but it didn't take long to, I think at the second or third time I heard it, it got me totally addicted. these things never change this fast and it's one of the things that make the FF my favorite band of all time.

but to stick to the thread's theme, one that tooke me a while to like was all my life. it's hard to explain tho, it's not that I didn't like at first, I think I didn't get it, it was so different from what they've been doing so far prior to that. I'm not sure but I think I changed my mind after I heard the live version of it, it's SO powerful on stage that I don't doubt that to be the reason. it's been a while so I can't be 100% sure.

The Pretender. That was the first Foo song that attracted my attention when I heard it on the radio. Initially, I really liked the calm parts and thought they totally ruined it with the screaming, etc. - what the hell was I thinking?!
Anyway, when I started to like all parts, I began to discover Foo Fighters. All is well that ends well!

I think mine was and still is All My Life, don't resent the song but its probably my least favourite of all the Foo Fighters songs, don't really know why because its one of their biggest hits, just not all that keen myself.

I like Third Eye Blind. They Just Released an album like a year ago.

Everlong. It wasn't until I heard it acoustic that I realised what a beautiful love song it was. I always skipped that and walking after you when listening to TCATS, but not anymore.

Everlongs normally the song that gets people into foo fighters, i'm shocked you didn't like it. All down to specific music tastes I guess. Never really been a big fan of Walking after you so i'll have to agree on that one.

Stacked Actors took awhile.

Not a fan of Summer's End, Hell, and I got tired of No Way Back pretty quick.

Also, it took me years to finally begin to like See You. Pretty recently I've gotten into it and it's like discovering a whole new song. Pretty cool!

And yeah, Jamie, I'm not a big fan of No Way Back either.
