If it helps, I think it likely that the Foo's could be entering a different stage in their career, perhaps one where they don't take extended breaks.

It used to be album/tour/break, but I think its possible that has changed, since 2011, 9 years, I've only not seen the band in 2013, and 2016.. and I've only seen them in the UK/Europe.

I look at Billy Joel, gave up recording music, now does perhaps one big UK show every 18 months.. the Foo's are a festival headliner, so they are always gonna be on the list of names for various European festivals, so you could see them tour on "off" years.. I mean, who thought we'd get concrete and gold in 2017, and they still be "on tour" two years later? Tours aren't the same slog's they used to be, how many shows this summer, 14?

Its well known that live is where most artists make the most music these days.

I'd imagine next year will be family time and a chance to work on new material.

Glasgow was great the other week. The Cure and Foo Fighters back to back is special.

I have loads of gigs coming up. The Filthy Tongues,.Pixies, Tte Cult, Mark Lanegan and others.

In a way I hope you are right - I seriously need to save up because these past few years haven't come cheap when it comes to Foo.

We are seeing Pixies as well, can't wait!

I see Supergrass are to announce they've reformed for gigs next year to celebrate 25 years since they released 'I Should CoCo'.

Now, if there was any UK action to celebrate FF25, a band that you've played with numerous times also celebrating an anniversary would work as a support slot wouldn't it?
