So this might just be a small Euro fest tour, and then end of 2017 new album + 2018 large (festival) tour.

If not glasto, V fest, r&l....

Those festivals are the end of August - these dates so far are early July so if you believe the Pinkpop booker then they seem unlikely.

They have to do their own shows then?

UK festival options for July would be BST in Hyde Park or Latitude. Latitude seems extremely unlikely, it's not really a hard rock band festival, BST is possible though. Green Day already confirmed, as is Phil Collins.

If we believe the 8 shows in 2 weeks (which makes sense because there are 8 stamp spots in the passport) then Glastonbury is possible. If they're the Sunday headliner then June 25th still fits.

By the way the reason people are seeing different pieces/sizes of the map is because of the way the image scales to different device sizes and the fact it's a near square image. The wider your display, the less of Europe you see. If I view full screen on my 1920x1080 monitor I can only see mostly the Spain/Portugal area, make it smaller and I see more.

So resize your window to be more square shaped to see it all. This is the full size image currently.

I still think it's Glastonbury to open the run - even more so if the red Poland on the map means the Open'er date is confirmed today/tomorrow.

Glastonbury is taking a break in 2018, to have Foo Fighters finally make it after the cancellation and to play their first show in ages as a finale to the 2017 festival on the Sunday night. It's a big way to go out.

I agree, but if they aren't announcing glasto until next year and there isn't another festival announcement (if there isn't some exclusivity clause?) And no own uk shows people are going to be pissed off!

I don't care if they play Glasto because it is fucking sold out!

The best thing that could happen would be some own FF Shows. It is in summer, so they can do it wherever they want. Hyde Park, Wembley, Berlin Wuhlheide, Olympic Park Munich.

But I'm only dreaming. This will not happen ´.

Open'er is 28.06-1.07. The passport seems to be going in chronological order so if that one on the left of Mad Cool is filled with Open'er, there is no further gaps for Glastonbury.

Unless they add another page or don't go in order for the rest.

I really hoe that they will come to Lyon to make up for the cancelled gig last year.

There is no big festival in lyon, but they could easily play in the 3Parc OL" the brand new football stadium. Coldplay ( ) will play there on the 9th of june.

Do you guys think this tour will be festivals only?

The other solution s that they play at the festival called "les nuits de fourvière". it's a really small venue in a roman theater. I've seen bands like Blur (just after the reunion), Radiohead, The Offspring play there. it's beautiful but only fits 3500/4000 people.

Who's to say it's 4 stamps a page or even in date order (in any normal passport the immigration stamps are all over the place)
Also, if it is chronological because Emily Eavis said they wouldn't announce anymore headliners until 2017 these announcements might exclude Glastonbury (in a US passport the stampable pages start before pg12 so they could always add prior page)

Then again, they might not even play.

After a quick google of possibilities this is what I think could be doable. None of these are real except Mad Cool and NOS Alive, just a guess!

07/01 - Open'Er, Poland
07/06 - Mad Cool, Span
07/07 - NOS Alive, Portugal
07/09 - BST, England
07/10 - T In The Park, Scotland
07/12 - Dour Festival , Belgium
07/13 - Exit Festival, Serbia

Can't really find any more to fit in the timeframe that are big enough and the right genre. So either it's going in random order on the passport pages or the some are non-festival. You would think they would go to France and Italy to make up for 2015 but no festivals fit. There was talk of a Lollapalooza Paris last year but that doesn't seem to be happening. Musilac is maybe possible, they got Elton John last year but no other big names.

Well indeed nothing is sure, just going by the fact it is one page for now and the blue lines seem to mark out 8 boxes.

It's absolutely inevitable they will play Glastonbury at some point, just a matter of when they want to do it in relation to any new music. At this stage we don't know what they're doing in that regard, so they may wait to 2019.

Rock en seine in Paris is later, at the end of august. They've done it before (i was there).
I would be glad if they played musilac. But the festival itself seems not as big as the other ones listed.
