Default One By One Limited Edition Question

(I think this thread would go here)

I've got the standard issuing of One by One with the black heart on the black cover. At a music store, they have a different colored edition that has the black heart on a white background. Is this the limited edition album with the DVD? I've looked on the packaging to see any mention of a DVD and there is none. I also don't want to buy it to just get an album I already own and I'm afraid that when I ask an employee, they'd have no idea what I'm talking about.

Do any of you fellas know?

Wait, what? I'm a little confused... The standard version is black heart - white background. If it has DVD, I think there should be sticker on the box saying so.

Um yeah I don't know if you mistyped there with the black heart on black cover, never heard of that. There are standard versions in both black on white and white on black, but any special edition should have a sticker saying so, or at least on the back it will give the different track listing and a DVD logo.

Here are 3 versions:

The first one is the standard one CD edition

Second one is with bonus CD (B-sides and live songs)

Third one is the one with the bonus DVD

that was definetly a mistype, a black heart on a black background would be invisible.

but you're clearly confused about the regular 2 opposite color schemes, the print run was just divided into those different covers, but the content is the same unless noted otherwise through a sticker on the cover or even printed on the cover like an updated design indicating it. this is a special edition I own, there's no way to misinterpret it as it is written "special edition" on the cover.

There are probably about twenty different unique versions of this album out there, this is what I have:

Black on White - Special Limited Edition Sticker, 7 track extra CD
Black on White in Red Case - Special Norwegian Edition Sticker, 5 track extra CD
Black on White - DVD-Audio version, bigger case
White on Black - Limited Edition Bonus DVD sticker, extra DVD
White on Black - Special Fan package added on the artwork, 6 songs on same main CD
White on Black - Japan Edition, Danny Says extra track + DVD

Okay, so my mistake, I have the regular edition and I suppose I got the black shading on the white heart confused.

The album in question looks exactly like the third one in the top row http://s247.photobucket.com/albums/g...t=IMG_5295.jpg there.

I'll have to go back and look closer. I might just buy it (only $11 if I remember right) for the different colored cover.

I'll probably just have to buy the DVD online. Thanks for all the help, though. I've been meaning to post this thread for quite some time.
