Default Melbourne Concert DVD

Hi All,

Will there be a DVD from the Melbourne concert that will be available for purchase? I absolutely had a ball and would love to get a copy of this concert so I can watch it all the time.

Unfortunately it's not something the band have ever done.

But if you look at you tube you usually find one or more people have records pretty much all of any concert these days.

Weíre definitely due for another live video. They donít really have enough cameras to make one though - just enough for the big screens, but no crowd shots really. Daveís voice was up for it from what I heard in Auckland - I havenít heard him sing that well the last couple of times down under.

We really are overdue a new live video release, a decade since the last one! You know when they're specially recording a show for release, there are a lot more cameras around than usual and you'll also probably see specialist cameras, overhead on wires, mounted to the side of the stage and stuff like that. To get all the fancy shots that you see in official releases.

Hopefully they're planning to record one of the summer/Autumn shows for release towards the end of the year. London seems like the easy guess, but they could also go for one of the big US shows, Fenway/Wrigley.

Mind you I was hoping/expecting them to do this last tour and they didn't, probably because of the broken leg. We can only hope.

Personally, I think it'd be fun to see an arena gig filmed as opposed to the usual stadium ones for any upcoming release.

Norwegian band bigbang did a live dvd with shots from eight totally different venues, sometimes changing in the middle of the song and clips from soundchecks and jams on the tourbus. Thats the kind of dvd i would like to see from the foo fighters. I was happy with everywhere but home though, lots of cool eastereggs on that one.
