A solid show,

The same set as the last festival gig except This Is a Call got played instead of Breakout.

Kinda tame crowd at first, seemed DG worked extra hard for the first few songs to get them going but it was great in the end.

I've criticized the covers a lot but now, seeing them do them from the rail at the b-stage I have to say they work quite well in the live situation.

EDIT : My only gripe is that White Limo didnt get played, also as this was their own indoor show instead of a festival or the like I kinda kept my hopes up for Aurora but that was a long shot anyway... Was kinda surprised that the crowd reacted so well to SFN and Arlandria and newer songs in general instead of older favourites.

Nice! Read the VG review from last night. At least 19999 of the 20000 seemed pleased according to the VG reviewer.

Any thoughts on special guest apperance in Gothenburg tomorrow?
Might not be any but my gut were telling me Gothenburg-born Motörhead-drummer Mikkey Dee (until I realized that Motörhead play Interlaken in Switzerland tomorrow).

Weather forecast looking great. I'm prepared for an awesome show in my hometown of GÖTEBORRRRRRGG!!!

See you all tomorrow. Let's all make this show amazing!!!

The VG song by song article was a good one from what I understood as Im not fluent in Norwegian -

But yeah the show was good and it was awesome to see them play from 2meters away on the B stage. Not the most energetic out of the 7 times I've seen them play, and they did skip 2-3 songs I believe which is a shame but still, a good show.

Hope you'll have fun at Göteborg whoever's going!

Back in the UK after Oslo last night. Agree with the comments above, good solid show. Thought the crowd reaction was good and they did seem to like the newer stuff. Much more of a younger crowd than the UK too. First time seeing them indoors for 4 years so that was a blast and was within 20 feet or so of the mini stage. I'd say the biggest indoor arena I've ever been in - no surprise DG was working hard the floor was massive. Personally I think the show starts and ends really well but the middle section doesn't work. Noticed it at Manchester too but the crowd reacts to the covers if they're near the mini stage , further back they don't. Again personal opinion but I loathe the covers, the fact they do them and the ones they choose. Otherwise though a great night and thanks to everyone we met in Norway who were all so friendly.

It was 10 years since I'd seen them indoors so that was cool.

Also, the way the concert was organized was great with the shuttle buses, enough counters to get a beer so no queue and no restrictions where you could go with the pint etc..

And yes the floor area was massive, never been to a venue with that big a floor before.

I liked that the jams they do were shorter, no 25min MonkeyWrench or 35min StackedActors which were horrible but as theyre no jam band the guitar solo noodling thing gets old quite fast IMO. And as fun as it was seeing the covers from such close distance I can imagine how weird they feel when seen from far away..

EDIT: Oh and another gripe about the setlist - as fun a song as Big Me still is, and even the slow version can be kind of fun, but to play it in the "encore" part with all the biggest hits which is supposed to be the great finale of the big rock show it just didnt work too well IMO.

EDIT2: The absence of Wheels was huge plus for the setlist.

Yes. This pre party area will be open 2pm-4pm and is only open to those in possession of a standing ticket. According to https://www.facebook.com/Ulleviprepartyarea

I wish everyone a great afternoon and night!
