Default Dave & Taylor on Chris & Chester

The Rock FM (NZ) went over to Sydney and had a few minutes with the guys captured here:

http://www.therock.net.nz/home/shows...pression-.html

Rog and Bryce were lucky enough to fly to Sydney to interview two of the biggest rockstars in the world, Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins, from one of the biggest rock bands in the world - Foo Fighters.

They talked about a range of things - Rog's deep voice and his unfathomably hairy forearms, to name a couple. But they also touched on a much more serious note, and something that is very real and very unsettling: depression and suicide.

Bryce asked the two rockstars to weigh in their thoughts on the tragic deaths of Chris Cornell and Chester Bennington, two much-loved musicians who took their own lives earlier this year. An emotional Grohl and Hawkins opened up and provided the most raw and most real conversation that we've been a part of.

Default Re: Dave & Taylor on Chris & Chester

Thank you for the link with the interview of Dave and Taylor!
They sad true and sad things about the suicide of Chris and Chester.

The last time I occupy myself with the death of Chris and Chester. I really liked both as musicians and human beings. I am very sad that they are gone. The world lost two talented people and I think both had a lot to give to other people.

Mental illness is an asshole (I hope I can say words like this here) and at no time family and friends can really say what happens inside a person who is suffering from that. You can take care of your friend or family member, but sometimes it is difficult to prevent a suicide.

I hope Chris and Chester found a place were they can rest in peace without their inner demons.
