As pissed as I am at Brett at AltNation, we as fans played our part in making this a thing by working ourselves up on public forums over the tiniest imperfections. They'll take it and run with it.

I'm not exactly impartial here since I was one of the fans running my mouth, but in fairness Rock Am Ring was a bit more than "tiny imperfections" and justified some discussion of his voice in the following week. Also the thread was really not that alarmist, the vast majority of the responses were either disagreeing with the dramatic OP or going "meh".

But yeah, I'll be more careful on Reddit for sure.

Yeah theres always talk when a singer loses a voice -

Adele's had her share of this, as has John Mayer, Christina Aguileira etc etc.. And they havent done a show while as sick as DG was at Rock Am Ring - I'd say the worry was justified. The article was total crap though, the correct title shoulda been "a few fans concerned etc.."

It's kinda funny as in the linked clips in the NME piece DG actually sounds very good.

I think the documentary is great news though!

His voice seemed to be fine at the weekend, so hopefully he's o.k. for the Manchester / London dates

Dave didn't sing as much last night compare to usual. The instrumentals were a bit longer, Taylor did three songs) I think) Chris sang one. And they went off and came back on for an encore, so maybe they are taking it a bit easier on his voice. Was still an amazing show and it's great to hear Chris on lead vocals!
