Yeah, I'm just waiting for a confirmation. There's probably gonna be some sticker or something on the plastic wrapping advertising an MP3 download, so if I see it I'll definitely buy it.

Can't wait to own both

don't think amazon will dispatch until saturday/sunday depending on the delivery method chosen. I've got Prime and it won't dispatched until sunday for delivery monday.

I think you're way off, to me the song is fantastic - again, it's a highlight for me (along w/ the amazing vocals of Josh Homme on Centipede!)

Album sound-a-likes ...

Centipede = Razor ; as someone already pointed out ... after another listen, yes, very much so! Foo Fact, can Simon confirm (or other knowledgeable Foo fanatics)? Doesn't Josh Homme make an appearance on the studio version of Razor?

If I Were Me = Over And Out

might get bashed for this one, but here goes anyway ...

Your Wife Is Calling = Vile

There was another one in there but now I can't remember which song ... gotta give it another listen!

Yup, that was me! And I still totally agree!

I thought the same thing about If I Were Me too, but it took me a minute to put it together. Throw in some Still too, because I can definitely hear elements of that in there too. But Over And Out does sound very similar.

Vile is just in the same style as Wife, they don't actually sound that much alike.

It'd be interesting to hear which songs truly started out as mindless jamming (like Slack) and which songs Dave came to the other musicians with a solid idea already in foundation.

Prime? I have chosen first class.Aren't Amazon based in Jersey or something? Normally things take an extra day to get to me even with first class.

In regards to 'Cut Me Some Slack' - I listen to it thinking that 3 people who enjoy making music together had a few hours in the studio with McCartney & together they knocked out a fun, rough few minutes of shouty pop. So in that respect I enjoy it.

However If it was put out on a Foo Fighters record & was the result of unlimited studio time I'd probably think it was a piece of crap.

Primes a yearly prepay next day delivery service.

I've got first class to and I'd be surprised if they don't despatch today. Like you say things seem to take an extra day to come from amazon and if they're saying delivered by release day they shouldn't risk sending them out later than today.

I hope anyway. I need new music in my car!

Think it depends on the delivery driver and the package. When I did have it before they just left it in the porch or with a neighbour

No, I don't think you do. Last time I ordered from Amazon with Prime I ordered an iPod and it was at my doorstep the morning after I ordered it.

EDIT: Has anyone preordered one of the shirt/dvd/album bundles off the Foo Fighters store yet?

amazon prime gives you free next day delivery, usually costs about Ģ40 a year but got a 3 month trial. They don't send from the channel islands any more (apart from indigo starfish), they have a massive warehouse in milton keynes and several others dotted around the country

Oh right! If the stuff gets sent today there may be a very small chance of arriving Saturday if it gets sent today then, but not looking good as I'm still able to cancel if i want to.

Prefer plastic. These sleeves seem to scratch CDs matter how careful you are.

Indeed. They're also susceptible to getting squashed. There was a Jewel Case version of WL so there probably will be for this as well. The gatefold will probably be the most common "standard" version though.
