I wonder why so many of guys get upset because of the Foos setlists. After every Show someone goes nuts about the Songs or coversy they played. No offense but you should realize that nobody forces you into going to their Shows or buying tickets.

Just remember: These guys are on tour for almost a year. Dave broke a leg and had a surgery. And they are still on tour.
I can understand if they're tired. I can understand the Thing with the covers. They have fun doing it, otherwise they wouldn't. And I can understand the love ride setlist. It's a charity Event with guys who don't know FF Songs, but they know the famous Songs they cover. I think it's the perfect setlist for such an Event.

Wow...was this a bar band who hasn't signed a record deal or what? If they sang 25 songs, maybe this would be easier to swallow, but half of their songs were covers.

Sure it's a charity event and the tickets were cheap, but that's no reason to be a cover band. Especially a 20 year old band. Isn't that what Chevy Metal is supposed to be??
They sure covered an excessive amount of Foo Fighters songs...

Because this is a discussion forum, basically. It's something to discuss while they're on tour. If you don't care for the topic nobody is forcing you to open it.

Also once again the show was advertised and sold as a Foo Fighters appearance, the crowd knew the band.

School's Out (Alice Cooper cover) was on the set list but I guess not played. I stand corrected. "Only" 7 covers.

You´re wrong. It´s not many. Most are completely ok with how the shows are these days.

The ones complaining are those of us who were around back in the day and know / remember what the band is capable of.

Interesting to see what the setlists will be like on the November Euro tour - looks like it'll be the final leg of Sonic Highways, plus there's some oddball countries for them, it could be fun.

That's what I'm hoping for The last couple of Shows at this huge tour. Maybe they'll give us something Special. I'd be so happy with a setlist like Hamburg had this summer. They played almost 2:40 hrs.

And maybe this Little break until November helps them to recover a bit.

Anything's possible,

The last leg of the WL tour had some great ones, Reading 2012 was stunning, and the Prague set was also real nice -

And of course this one -> http://www.setlist.fm/setlist/foo-fi...c-3dc4967.html

I'm not making fun of you here but it just goes to show how sad it has become when someone makes a sarcastic remark yet it seems completely plausible.

Not pulling the old fan card, but I remember when they tried hard, played great sets and it wasn't ALL about Dave and that chair. If I went to this show to see Foo Fighters I'd be totally pissed off.

I guess the band gives zero fucks about the covers... I'm assuming they are going down well overall or surely they'd stop playing them, having only been to UK shows where the covers have been kept to a minimum/snippets I wonder what the shows next week in Europe will be like..

I do think its odd that covers are part of a tour, you maybe get a couple, but there are some bands who wouldn't even consider a cover, this far into their career, and a couple of covers make the gig exciting, but so many... I know I'd feel a bit gutted if 1/4 or 1/3 of a show were covers.
