A punch between the eyes will do it. In real trouble if we come across sharknado though.

Yeah of course I am.
I'm not too happy to travel though, nor have the extra money, but I have a couple of friends there so I'll make up in hotel/transportation/company.

I'm dreaming of a dreamy superlong setlist.

I tweeted the Foo Fighters PR company and he replied this gig is a one off only. Now why do a one off gig? Dave said he wanted to record the new album in a way that had never been done before how about recording all the new songs live in front of an audience? Random thought of the day or is that another thread lol?

I think there was a recent interview with Taylor saying it wasn't going to be in front of a live audience (he could be fibbing of course!) Who is their PR on Twitter?

Ok, what are the choices? I'm curious & don't have FB so that's probably why it's not showing for me?

The presale starts on wednesday but you have to have an account in a certain bank, Banamex, for that. They open the sale up for general public on saturday.

Okay, I am really, really considering this.

Who wants to be my line buddy? Not crazy about traveling alone, as per usual.

A number of bands have recorded albums live, too, so that cancels that out.

I live in an apartment with my dad and siblings so I can't really offer a place to crash in but I can offer myself as a guide/aid in Mexico City if any of you wants to come to the gig and if I can convince my mother of lending me her car, I can also provide transportation to and from the concert.

I've been trying to find a seating chart or ticketing information regarding seating. I've found nothing, has anyone seen anything? Wondering/hoping the floor is just one large GA pit.

There's this thing called cash. Offer enough of it and bands will come and play for you.

Look, nobody's gonna guess how they'll record new album for next year,
I know....

But, this kinda sounds a bit like a road trip 'cross the border no?

There have been in the past Foo sightings on the road, back roads, live, etc.
[Garage Tour, Keep It Clean Flatbed Truck, Dive Bars on the Road]

I would love to hear some Foo product of the Road someday-
if for nothin' more than the sheer entertainment of it all- Taylor, et al.

Jackson Browne recorded a whole album with his band in the 70s on the road that was Awesome,
called
Running On Empty which included songs from the hotel room, backstage, and even drivin' down the road recording on the tour Bus?!

just sayin'

Foo Fighters could just pull it off since they practically live on the road most of year when touring!

Cheers
:>
