To anyone disappointed to not to find a "surprise" what was the wording on the email you received. I ordered my deluxe bundle from the US site and all the email says is "keep an eye out for a little something extra when you receive your flight bag" which in my eyes doesn't seem like a promise. Yeah I'll be a little disappointed but the wording sounds pretty far from a guarantee to me

Keep an eye out for something inside the bag when you get it is just that.So I would expect something as they said to. Hopefully for you guys the item is being made for you as we speak.

I've received my bag today: nothing's inside.

I'm not sure what they said meant "No guarantee". It could mean "Not immediately".

It says "when you receive your flight bag" so that implies at the same time. And yes I'm in the "that wording most definitely is a form of a promise / guarantee" camp too.

Their only actual "out" from that is that it might be going out by separate mail, which might be fair if they are coming from a different source. Then their promise makes sense, otherwise it's all just been bullshit to placate fans from getting pissed off while they waited.

"promise them anything - whatever it takes to shut them up... you don't have to follow through on it..." - IF that's how it ends up after my last week of experiences with the store I can't say I will be surprised.

Nah it's just me - I'm on a Live Nation witch hunt and I need to chill out. They've just pissed me off SOO much this last week...

Anyway - yeah being kinda nice about it - they have really clearly said "Hey we'll make it up to you..."

Extremely Piss poor / I won't be ordering from the official website ever again!

It's not exactly the bands fault per se, they don't man the phones or pack stuff, but they will be unaware of what is going on. I'm sure LN said they would do this that and the other before the band signed on the dotted line. LN are obviously falling way short on what was promised. I did say when Live Nation took over merch to expect piss poor customer service. Mate has been waiting for stuff since September. Emailed and phoned them. They have lied to her saying stuff has been sent when it's not and they will send out the merch again. Guess what? No merch.

Ooh I'm going to have to disagree The Band wouldn't be aware and to be honest probably don't care but if it's an Official Foo Fighters Product - ordered from their official outlet then The Buck stops at the Foos

The Point Is Live Nation are Blatantly Lying / Ignoring emails?... yes they say they are busy / understaffed! No excuse - Employ More People! Meet our needs of FXXX off! And let someone else deal with it!

I'm having a similar problem with HMV - Problems with an Order - Online HMV have ignored my 6 emails in the last 7 days, interesting to see if the CEO ignores me too as I've found his email and contacted him today Direct...,. Maybe I need to contact Dave Grohl Direct ..... I can imagine what his reply would be !

Seems all these Big Firms think they are bigger than the Customer?.blatantly ignoring us,,.. ... well guess again.... it's us that put you where you are and it's us that can stop buying your goods and send you to obscurity...... rant over for now....

It's gone beyond bad in many instances - I'm having one more rant in full detail and leaving it there. I've now said my piece. They can now no longer say they dont know - I've put it all in black and white.

My 2p / 5c - it IS on the Band, they hire the management who determine how long this shit can fly.

Absolutely no word in Australia on the flight bag, no tracking info on the orders, and word of disgusting in-person treatment of fans by LN staff (who have also been heard slagging off the band themselves on more than one occasion). This was a bad deal.

I am still waiting on my Deluxe Vinyl bundle to ship. I have contacted them twice. One time they told me it was shipped but it was the guitar shirt that I had ordered for my son. I emailed them again with the order number and they replied saying that they are trying to get the bundles out as fast as they can. Good thing my local record store had the record!!!
