Default What bands am I missing out on?

I'm a huge fan of the Foos, but I was surprised when I didn't care much for TVC at first. Then my taste really started becoming diverse and I love them. I bought Red Light Fever by Taylor's band and it sounded like a mix of Rush and Queen, it was great. I just started listening to some QOTSA again after not listening to them in a long time. I also started listening to Sunny Day Real Estate and I love them. I recall my drum teacher a couple years back recommending them cause I loved the Foos but I never tried em out until yesterday. So I'm officially at that point where I'll like anything if any of the Foos are in it lol, I'm also just liking anything and everything which is good cause it's great as a musician to have a diverse taste. So what other side projects am I missing out on?

Yeah, why limit yourself to groups that include members of the Foo Fighters? There are so many GREAT bands out there(well not that many really), but I could name a couple EVERYONE should treat themselves to.

First, The Black Keys and their "Rubber Factory" and "Thickfreakness" cds.A great blues rock duo.Next...The Drive By Truckers. They have several top notch cds, including "Southern Rock Opera", "Decoration Day", and "Dirty South". Honorable mention to their "Pizza Deliverance" and "Blessing and A Curse" cds. All five are worth owning in my opinion. DBT are a southern rock/country band. They have(at least on these cds) three quality song writers in Patterson Hood,Mike Cooley, and Jason Isbell. A real rariety in music these days.

Get on Airborne Toxic Event, don't know much about them, just came across them on Spotify a few months back and d/l some of their stuff. "Wishing Well" is a stand out track. I need some new music, I've been stuck in a rut the past few weeks!

I've been in love with Jackson United and The Fire Theft since I first heard about them back in '03/'04. I got Chris Shiflett and the Dead Peasants today and I LOVE IT.
