No - it literally went straight to the purchase page.

If I'd have got Wed or Thurs tickets I would've had one spare. My wife has been working in Belgium and gets back this evening at St Pancras so I'll be meeting her from there and heading down - sorry!

Really didn't think I'd get tickets! Over the moon! x

Good luck to everyone trying to get tickets for tonight, was tempted to try again but figure if I don't then I'll let someone who hasn't been to the other two go tonight

Apparently you should keep trying until it says Sold Out according to someone on the Download forum (who posted the link just before the tweet yesterday)

Keep trying, F5, F5, F5. Right now, the standing tickets are showing as "Sold out", whereas the balcony seats are "Tickets Not Available". That's different to how it was 5-10 minutes ago, where both were "Tickets Not Available". Suggests to me that there may still be a few seated tickets that might trickle through.

And obviously "the middle" would need to be somewhere really well connected in terms of transportation and the like (so that people who don't drive can get there). That pretty much gives you the options of Birmingham (which a lot of people in the NW/NE and Scotland would say is too far away), Manchester or Leeds.

As for the "no guest list, no corporates" thing. Yeah. That'll never happen. As long as there's a show, there'll be hangers on ('cos don't forget, those hangers on may well be people who've properly supported the band since the outset, both from the music industry and further afield -- friends, relatives, etc.).
Middle if uk is currently Whitendale Hanging Stones in Lancashire. Thou ur right, if Scotland departs from uk then ur right, it would change..... And be further from Scotland so no moaning from the Scottish people that voted yes!
Doesn't have to be too well easily reached as would have at least a months notice, sort out getting to Lancashire nearest train station then getting coaches. May need to book out cottages or camp.... OMG a foo festival with just the foos playing every song over 3 days. Ok can't.breathe. From self inflicted over excitement from my amazing idea hahahahaha

No it would have strict rules of no hangers on, they can arrange their own gig. Strictly only necessary crew. No management need to try and get their sticky fingers involved. Only band immediate family and that's the only exception but they can go to the corporate ones as they prob wouldn't want to slum it in Lancashire.... Doesn't need any sponsorship etc so the corporates can jog on. And any costs I'm sure could be covered by doing it when they would be uk sides so don't have to pay for flights for band and crew, they're more then welcome to crash at my house and I'm sure anyone else in forums houses and if everyone paid a set amount to cover cost if land hire..... I'm prett sure between us in here we could set up extra bits and we byob and it's not like we need heaps if stuff either. In happy for a stripped back to basics set, don't need fancy lights and lasers etc, just need them and their instruments and us
I've been to shows before where there was no corporate guest list. Just fans and bands family so it is possible
