Agreed,

With minor tweaking Bridge Burning could have been a FF classic. Now itīs a bit of a collection of riffs. Not bad but had more potential.

White Limo is great, nice to hear it finished finally.

Rope is fun. Like the weird riff. Donīt understand how the hell DG has come up with the melody over that progression.

These Days is sorta a sequal to Times Like These. I like TLT more but a nice song anyway. Again, IMO has potential to be even better.

A Matter of Time has a killer intro. The rest is pretty forgettable IMO.

Walk is a great song. Even though it really does not have the FF sound Iīve liked for over 25 years now..

I love Walk - a real uplifting song. Even better when listened to with the video

I still think Miss the Misery is one of the most undervalued great Foo songs. Dear Rosemary and Arlandria are incredible too. I loved the teasing, promo, documenting and "practicing" that built up to the release of this great album.
"Bob Mould played on my fucking album in my fucking house!"

One thing I think that shockingly hasn't been brought up on the thread yet is just how great it sounds sonically. Their straight to tape approach completely fucking working. Every time I crank it in the car, Wasting Light sounds significantly better than every other record, including C&G. You throw on White Limo and a wall of sound hits you. I'm still unsure how Wasting Light didn't win an engineering grammy as well....

Yes^

It is sounding so great on the turntable tonight. It stirs rich memories of courting my wife and turning her on to this band, this record, and....myself. The power of Foo. Side A of this record is tremendous.

I have a lot of loyalty to TCATS as it was the first album I got into but this would be no 2 in my eyes.
I loved seeing it being made on Back and Forth and them listening to it in the car to see how it sounded on a shit car stereo
