Yeah, I'm finding out a lot of people are winning again. Pretty weird and awesome. I wonder how many people signed up.

According to tweets from Global Festival, you can win more than once. You have 4 tickets!

Well what do you know! I'm in and this will be the 12th time I've seen them this tour. Thank god for frequent flier miles.

So once you win, they don't remove you from the pool for the next drawing?

IMO that's kind of shitty - let someone else win.

UGH! Now I REALLY feel like an arse!;( I didn't enter cuz I never win anything-ever-like in my whole life-for reals. so I just paid for a VIP ticket. I Should've entered-couldve hooked her up and possibly others in the event of " The Messiah's Second Coming"( i.e. Maybe I Couldve won?!) Damn it! I'm glad I get to go but, shoulda, coulda, woulda...damn.damn.damn. I mean it's about as likely that I wouldve won free tickets as it would be for me to remove the F-bomb from my vocab for one day but...still. I know what it's like to be "a giver" and it RULES. I clearly wasn't thinking I suk.

Well, look at it like this ( maybe it'll help?): if someone wins more free tickets, there will be more opportunity to "spread the love" to others. so, someone else DOES win...I mean, I get what you're saying but you never know, maybe that "someone else" is you. and the drawings aren't over so, hope for the best

I bought VIP tickets so it doesn't matter to me personally, I just think it would be nicer for them to spread the prize.

When will the Global Festival start and finish?
The gates to the site will open at 2 PM. The festival itself will commence at 5pm and end at around 9pm. All times are dependent on weather.

4 hours for 5 bands? So that's like a 40 min set each?

Fuck that noise.

Hopefully the first 2 bands are 20 minutes each and 20-30 for Black Keys - that way they give us more of what we want.

ugh. i was afraid that it would end at 9pm. i mean, it's still a free show so i can't complain. but i was hoping for something longer than a 30-45 minute set. oh well.

Been lurking this board for a long time, finally decided to join

I'll be flying in with my girlfriend from Moncton, NB, Canada. Not a cheap trip, it would be nice to see a 60-90 minute set and not a 30-40 minute one! But I'm sure we'll have a good time anyway. Also, I'd gladly empty my bank account for a secret show the night before... hehe

Why is it so hard to find a decent place to stay in NYC? Everything is either fully booked or too expensive...

Any recommendations?
