Well Dave is known to secure HIS productions behind his companies. Maybe it will be there after airing on HBO. #not.

if I heard someone saying this in the mid 90s about the 'drummer from Nirvana' in 20 years time, I wouldn't believe 'em.

Unless they've asked Dave to do something for them about the HOF. Possible maybe.

Possible but two things seem against that, firstly why would Dave be the one doing the interview, if it was RNRHOF? Secondly it says series, I could see there being a one off special about it but a series? I think it has to be something Dave is doing.

Nancy Wilson seems to think it's a film.

Isn't KISS originally from New York? Dunno if they ever recorded there though.

If the new album has anything to do with kiss, then we're doomed. I mean jesus christ, wasn't that the whole point of grunge and the 90s? To save us from that over-glorified, egotistical crap?

I think it could be cool if they experimented with new genres. Maybe this next album is like their Sandinista? But my only concern is that the only time I can think of in the past when they kind of experimented outside their comfort zone (save for disc 2 IYH) was on ESPG. And yikes was that a disaster. I would be fine to never hear the likes of "summer's end" ever again.

Then again recent bands have had success with changing things up. Reflektor by Arcade Fire was a fresh take on their formula, so why can't the Foo Fighters have similar success?

Regardless I still want a more stripped down sound, like from the debut.

I wouldn't worry about Kiss or even Paul Simon being on the Foos album, let alone produce or something more technical.

I'm sold on the side that Dave's interviewing muscicians that recorded in some of the studios the Foos have allegedly recorded for the new album.

That or he's making Sound City 2 or Sound City Series]

That's a UK based tribute band, not the real foos. You aren't the first one to not realize.

Going to see them as a stop gap before the real Foos tour.Quite a lot of people are getting confused at the moment.
