Am I the only person having trouble with the newsletters? I generally get the newsletter one or two days after the first people get theirs on this board, sometimes I get it after competitions close (although I couldn't enter anyway) and sometimes I don't get it at all.
Is this a common problem? I am with Hotmail too, is this a common Hotmail problem?
I normally wouldn't care, but with the new album coming up I'd hate to miss out on a competition or news or something.

Apologies: Sorry if...
This is the wrong place
This has been covered before
I sound like a little whining bitch.

Hotmail isn't great with things like that, I always get mine 2 days later on hotmail so I think it's a problem localised to hotmail.

Smile

The Grohl was able to determine my home address from my email address, and delivers all of my newsletters in person.

Largely, it's cause of your own email service. The newsletter takes 2-3 days to send out to everyone because we're talking about a quarter of a million email addresses (some bad, some valid) and it takes a shitload from the server to send it and on top of that many email services detect it is being bulk mail and delete it before you get it

That's why when AOL or whoever offers spam protection, you should be wary because odds are we're not the only legit mail geting blocked by them

Personally for the foofighters.com mail, i use zonealarm with whitelists for all my addresses and certain phrases that always get used in emails related to this site
