Default Bringing Foo to the fight in Afghanistan

Good evening. I donít know if the band ever gets forwarded any of this, but I wanted to quickly express my gratitude for inadvertently keeping me going during my last tour of duty in Afghanistan. As a Marine, you stand ready to defend our great nation with your very life, but itís much harder to prepare yourself, or your family and friends for the ways war can change you. One thing that kept me sane there and continues to now is listening to this hell of a band. Your music did more than soothe the savage beast - it kept this beast alive, married, humbled and grateful to live and serve this nation. Semper Fi to my fellow warriors - the Foo Fighters. Looking forward to seeing you in Dallas in April.

Foo Fighters gave me back the meaning of life. It's a long story, but I can say that listening to your music gives me the energy I need every day.
