![]() I was looking at old setlists and I can't believe they haven't played No Way Back since 2008. I went to see them at Van Andel in Grand Rapids, MI and it looks to be one of the last times they played it.
Not sure who I need to talk to about this shit, but that is a signature Foo song, I believe it needs to be reintroduced.... ![]() |

You probably need to talk to Dave but: a. He doesn’t read these posts b. I don’t think he would change the setlist to include it if he did. They have just reintroduced Let It Die back into the setlist so I guess you never know what tracks Dave may decide to dust off in the future.

![]() Always open for discussion, but I've always felt that No Way Back is one of the songs that really captures the band pre-ESPG, along with Monkey Wrench, All My Life etc....shitloads of guitar, shitloads of energy and a killer catchy chorus (That hasn't changed, but they've definitely evolved quite a bit since those first albums)
I'd personally like to see the Foos move toward a more diverse setlist, they have so many good deep cuts, its tough to not feel like you missed a couple of your favs when they really don't mixup the setlist too much. |

![]() This kind of went under the radar and it's not the same as the real thing, but Heart did an acoustic backstage cover of the song a few years back. It's good to see people (let alone musicians) are still feeling it. I turn it up high whenever it's on. So it's held up well, it's still got that bounce factor!

![]() There are so many good deep cut songs in their armamentarium that they could do a “deep cuts” tour where they didn’t play any of the “popular” songs. I would totally love that!

![]() It is something you can ask of a lot of the FF catalogue, unfortunately. I mean don't forget, this was a single, and now it can genuinely be considered a deep cut. Super deep cuts, like A320 or Normal are on another level.

![]() 'Normal' is so far out of Dave's conscious and memory that if I were to hold up a sign at the next Foo gig saying 'CAN'T YOU JUST PLAY NORMAL?!?' he'd probably get offended.

![]() I was lucky enough to catch it in Indianapolis in 2008. Seemed to go down well.

![]() Saw it in 2005,
Was great! Said it before but I guess once or twice they did AML and No Way Back tied together, You know, the two last hits of AML are basically the same as the first two hits on No Way Back. That would be a killer opener right there! |

![]() I personally have wanted to see the 1,2 punch of In Your Honor into No Way Back like they have it setup on the album for years. I know they did it when the album came out. Not hold my breath on ever seeing that again though.
AMY into NWB would be absolutely killer as well too! |
