Well, seeing as TCV seems super unlikely now. I'm really hoping the new album continues in the vein of St. Cecilia, in that it's just a collection of the best songs they have lying around, and that they record it in a relaxed way. No more concept albums please.

I wish we at least had an idea of when they will start a new album or project. Doesn't even have to be specific. Something like Summer or Fall of 17'. Just give us something to look forward to!

I'm going to say earliest they get together to get to work on the next project is summer '17, and earliest anything comes out is early '18. That being said, the break seems more substantial than that so I'm not sure we'll get anything before 2018-19. That sounds so far off but it's really only a break of about a year and a half.
I hope we get a straightforward studio album next. As much as I loved the SH films, songs seemed to suffer a little bit from the whole concept thing. And of course I'd like to see more writing contributions from the rest of the band.

Whenever they decide to record again I really hope they would have the songs again, with less TV shows or other side orders. There´s been great songs here and there the last few years but I really miss the energy their records used to have back in the day - plus I miss the payoff the records gave as there was always more to discover on each listen. I still find new things on TINTL for example although I must have listened through it a few thousand times.
But while we´re waiting the new Cloud Nothings sounds awesome (I´m not affiliated in any way)
