It boggles my mind there has been no mention of this new date for May 2019.

It's not technically DC. It's the other side of the river in Virginia (Arlington/Alexandria area). The only concert venue that I can think of in that area of Virginia is the wonderfully named Jiffy Lube Live Amphitheater. But that's too small for the Foos.
Obviously, it could mean the DC area, but it seems odd that they would focus on that area of Virginia rather than the wider DMV area. As for the Sonic Temple thing, it's a decent lineup, but I'm not bothered enough to want to spend a weekend in Columbus.
