Default Copyright question

Hi all
First a bit of an introduction.
Name is Igor, from Croatia, 34, listening to FF for years but joined the forum shortly after managed to buy tickets for Pula show this summer.
Now the question: Does anybody know how to obtain a permission to use a song as a soundtrack for a video? I would like to use a song, or two, in a non-profit video showing scenes from within a firefighting aircraft that we shot last summer.
Thank you

Default Re: Copyright question

Hi Igor, you'll need to contact their publishers, who would have the authority to grant permission and issue quotes/contracts on behalf of the writers. Depending on the song you want to use, each writer would be represented by their own publishing company, and you legally need permission from all of them.
