I don't care if I'm ever on this website again.... what sick bitch posted " my dog is dying and blah. blah. blah"... i did not think that was least bit amusing and rather scathing..... I don't care if you're God... to joke about that is sick and as a rescuer you had my heart in my throat until I saw your "elitist" excuse for that post.... have a little humanity and humility .... it just might be your dog dying some day.... oh but of course, you're not the type to have a connection like that.... adios

They seem to be talking about the old name of the "no special requests" sticky, which was "My dog is dying and getting married next week when the Foo Fighters are in town!!"

How they misunderstood that to be hateful or what it has to do with the ANZ tour though, no idea.

They dusted off 'Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners' as an encore last night. Mm, those deep cuts.

(Edit: Yet despite playing 'Outside' in soundcheck, nothing from SH was in the show's set. Not even 'Something From Nothing'. Huh.)

Here's Taylor's drum solo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iTDFsJ4t3Ps
Here's some more pics/vid on my IG: https://www.instagram.com/p/BeLYyN-haSm/

arghhhhh that was so good! killer set list! So glad they didn't stick 5 or 6 covers in the set as they had been doing last year, 99% Foo Fighters!

I was outside at their sound check yesterday and heard them do Run, Make It Right, Something From Nothing, Outside, Bridge Burning, Times Like These. I swear earlier in the day when I drove by I heard just the guitar getting sound checked and the chords sounded a lot like I Am A River. Surprised there were no Sonic Highways songs in the show. Also a friend of mine caught the set list and I'm kicking myself I didn't get a picture of it but it had Arrows on it as well as Wheels, both weren't played. But from memory it was listed next to like 2 or 3 other songs that were played (on the same line) so I think they just pick one in that moment to go with.

I think that was my 6th time seeing the Foo Fighters in Perth (since 2003) and I thought that was the best I had seem 'em. Dave's voice was in great shape, Taylor debuted his new japanese themed "sushi restaurant" kit, the band were tight af and Dave's banter was fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed the show, the crowd around me were really great too.

Sounds great! I hope they’re as good as that in Auckland, although they can switch out Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners for Wattershed!

I hope Dirty Water stays in the list - we have to make the most of the line:

"I feel an earthquake coming on..."

Surely written for Auckland

Ok, if you’re a fan of a band called the Foo Fighters, listen up.

Because we’ve pulled some strings, paid some questionable guys cash under the table, and done a few things we can’t even talk about on the radio, to score an UNBEATABLE Foo Fighters experience, that YOU can win:

Two tickets to the Foo Fighters gig, Mt Smart Stadium February 3rd
Two tickets that’ll get you seats AT the sound desk for the Foos
The entire Foos album back catalogue
AND a huge stack of Foos merch

Keen?

Listen out for the Foos track of the day at 8am with the Morning Rumble.
When you hear it play between 9 and 5, text VIP, and the time you heard it to 3520, and you’re in the draw.

Be the ultimate Foos VIP, only with The Rock
