I always kinda skipped TINLTL when going through my albums on my iPod because I used to think it was nothingy. But I now have no idea why. Its got some freakin good songs.
On the new album I was always put off by the kinda emoness of Let it Die with the sudden "Did you ever think of me...." bit, but after opening with it at O2. Wow.

Learn to fly, although i like it now, in your honour, i'll still skip it most of the time! It's just too, nothingy, long road to ruin, although now it's my favourite song on the new album!

Monkey Wrench, the first song of theirs I heard which put me off from liking them for about 3 years. It's OK though, can listen to it now without being tempted to switch the song.

Gimme Stitches...I like the music but when I first heard the lyrics I thought it kind of a little weird. Afte a few plays I did love it-I tried to interpret it but, at first, only thing I can relate it to was a patient complaining to his doc. Now after listening to it so many times-it seems to me to be a political commentary or could be a hurt lover singing to some mean chick!<LOL~
"I can be your right of way
So we can get out of here
I'll always be the one who runs from everyone
Cause everyone's just too weird
Sink with someone tied to me
I'm making you volunteer
Another one has come and gone
They crawl along, make them disappear
Dress me up in stitches
It's now or never
Tired of wearing black and blue
Dress me up in stitches
It's now or never
Dying to get my blood on you
Take another stab at me
I promise in time I'll heal I waited out on high street
There's nothing to find out here
Another day has come and gone
They crawl along, wasting all these years
How can you go on when you're murdering someone
Killing me like you do
Gimmie stitches now or never
Before I get my blood on you"

I'm still trying to come to terms with "Virginia Moon" I'm slowly, very slowly getting there. Low is my choice though, I couldn't really get into it until I seen the clip..Jack Black & Dave "Legend's together".

Actually, the whole ESPG was hard for me to like, except The Pretender.. But now I like most of the songs.. Still having a hard time on Cheer up, Summer's End and Let it die.. at first the whole album was dissapointing.. But it gets better time after time.

Learn To Fly
When that first came out, it was on the radio like every 5mins, and I couldn't stand it. Now I LOVE that song.

Cheer Up Boys
I don't know...I just didn't really care about it, but I love it now, and it's so much fun live.

Best Of You
I really did not like this song at all...I thought it was crap for almost a year after it came out...I don't know what happened, but I like it a lot now.

The One
I don't know why, but I did not like this song at all...but I love it now. Absolutely love it.

Headwires
Yeah...thought it was boring...now I think it's beautiful.

FFL
I HATED, absolutely HATED this song. I appreciated what Dave was going for, but didn't think it worked...And recently, like in the past TWO DAYS, I've fallen in love with this song! IN LOVE...I have issues...

Long story short...I love every Foo Fighters song now...Except for maybe Hell...

Statues and Summers End took me awhile, but I may like them now because I rarely listened to them compared to the other ESPG tracks when the album was released. They almost feel like new songs now.

On the new album, Let It Die. I thought it was too repetitive and a little boring at first... now I love it. They opened with it in Nashville, and the stark contrast between the acoustic opening and the head-banging finale is so powerful. Great song.

It took me awhile to like The Last Song as well, but now that's one of my faves. Watching them play it live on Letterman helped to change my mind.

I used to skip Erase/Replace every time I listened to ESP&G. Still not my favorite, but it's growing on me.

When "Big Me" came out I was in highschool and the music station here in Toronto played the video for it over and over and over again. I COULDN'T STAND IT!!!! I never really knew who these "Foo Fighters" were. I thought the song and the video was completely stupid!
It took me a few more years to figure out that they are only the BEST band on earth!
I of course now LOVE everything the guys do!

My hero. I like it, I just don't adore it. And if it counts, the version of Big ME on skin and bones is a borefest.
