Default Free Monkey Wrench

I was sorting out my collection and found 3 pairs of Monkey Wrench uk cd1 and cd2.
2 pairs is enough so can i help someone with these cds?
They play good but they have been used.
They are free, you only have to pay shipping cost of 3 euro's WORLD WIDE.
I will ship them WITHOUT the cases.
With the cases shipping would be 5 euro's World Wide.

Just replay in this Thread why you want them and i will pick one with the best story

I'd really like them with the cases! And we're both dutch so I think that's a pretty good reason.

I have already written this story in another thread on the board but a good one for here too Dunno if it will win me free CD's, but what the heck!

This is 100% true. My brother met Taylor and it's quite a story. As my brother is very tall, he is very noticable in a crowd. For the purpose of brevity, I'll refer to Taylor as 'T' and my brother Nick as 'N'.

T'was a sunny 4th of December 2011 in the CBD of Adelaide, South Australia and T was out riding a pushbike around town shirtless with a bike helmet and dark sun glasses on (semi-disguised), the day prior to the Foo's gig at Adelaide Oval. My brother drives 400 miles into town to see the Foo's, checks in to his hotel room and then proceeds to walk into the CBD for some beers. Whilst walking down the footpath he spies a lean topless cyclist stopped at a pedestrian crossing and thinks to himself 'that looks like Taylor Hawkins' (as N himself is a lean drummer too). He decides to yell 'Taylor' to which T responds and acknowledges N. N approaches T and T pulls over to the footpath to exchange pleasantries and graciously shares in a photo opportunity with N and then T continues on his merry way. Awesome N thinks! Four hours later and 2 miles away, I arrive in town to meet my brother for dinner down on the restaurant strip (and to see the Foo's of course). As N had been drinking booze all afternoon, he decided to leg it downtown to the strip. What do you know, as he's strolling down the footpath, guess who else walks past...you guessed it but T with a few of the FF entourage heading down to the restaurant strip too. They wave to each other and N says to T, 'don't worry, I'm not stalking you' and they both have a bit of a laugh and continue on..... Go figure!
The following day after a good night out on the town, N decides to go into town again for a feed and a few pre-concert beers. As he steps out of the front doors of his hotel, none other than T rides past on his pushbike again! They both wave and smile at each other simultaneously. What are the chances? N cannot believe it! But wait, there's more. Later in the day, N is walking down to the line-up at the FF concert venue around mid afternoon and hears someone shout out to him. N looks around and it's T laughing and waving to N, presumably whilst on his way to sound check. Totally cool!!!
What are the chances of bumping into one of the most famous rock drummers in the world 4 times in 4 different locations over 2 days in a city of over a million people? Pretty amazing really I reckon and deservedly a good story for free Monkey Wrench CD's perhaps Mark?? Oh and it's my 100th post too...yay!

I won them.

But here's my Dave story:

On the second Them Crooked Vultures show ever (the top date in my signature), I stood front row for the entire show. And seeing as the audience isnt seperated from the stage by fences at that venue, the band was right up in my face (the stage was about as high as my chest). When the show was just over a guy came up from behind me signing me that I should help him get up the stage. So I did. And then I thought, well what the hell, I'm going too. So I pulled myself upstage ran towards Dave who was still behind the drumkit, shook his hand (over the drumkit), and all I could say was "Hi" and he replied likewise, with a huge grin on his face.

What a great memory. But it doesn't end there. After I had achieved this goal I thought, well let's get off stage, and the bouncers also seemed to want me off the stage, but on my way back to the front of the stage I ran into Josh! I extended my arm to shake his hand as well, but he had other plans as he lifted me from the ground and hugged me for a couple of seconds! I couldn't believe it. Josh "get of my stage" Homme picked me up (he's a head taller than me) and hugged me. When he released me I jumped of stage. Best concert memory I have. And a tough one for myself to ever beat.
