Default Sound City Supergroup

If you were to pick one group from the sound city album to release a full album as a band, who would yours be?

Mine would be Alain Johannes; Dave Grohl; Lee Ving; Pat Smear; Taylor Hawkins. Your wife is calling is such a great song. It would be cool to hear some new, fast punk. Dave Grohl seems to know what he's doing when it comes to that kind of thing.

Another band I was thinking about picking was Brad Wilk; Chris Goss; Dave Grohl; Tim Commerford. I am a huge fan of Rage Against The Machine and the song, "Time Slowing Down" had a riff in it at the end that sounded like a Rage riff. It's been so long since we've heard anything from Rage, and with Dave Grohl added into it, it's even more awesome!

Definitely the Reznor, Homme, Grohl combo. They are, to me, the three biggest names in music today.

Personally I'd rather just see Them Crooked Vultures again. With Alain as a fully credited member.

This. I'd take Them Crooked Vultures over any combo from Reel to Real. Although Grohl, Reznor and Homme come in a close second.

And I'd love a punk rock band with Grohl, Ving, Pat, Taylor, and Alain. But totally agree that Alain should be an actual TCV member on the next album.

Either Grohl/Reznor/Homme or "Sirvana"...maybe Rick Springfield and The Foo Fighters.

Corey Taylor, Rick Nielson and Dave Grohl (and whoever the other guy was...Scott Reeder?) would also be awesome for a full album/tour.

I would include Corey Taylor and BRMC in this grouping. The Springfield,McCartney,Ving,Nicks and Fogerty collabs didn't interest me in the slightest. A little dated at this point.
