Default Throne?

Anyone heard if he'll be using the throne/not walking much during the rest of the US tour?

I think he's going to use it for the rest of U.S. tour, and perhaps even into the European tour this fall. I heard him mention that he could be in the cast for 6 months, which would be December, though it might not be that long.

I don't think the doctors are going to let him roam around the stage on his own for at least another 6-8 weeks, and probably longer.

He talks about it in this interview.

Can you foresee your first gig without the throne?
Deciding when to stop using it will be hard. Can we stop using the throne when I can just stand there? Can we stop using the throne when I can walk around the stage? Can we stop using the throne when I can fucking jump around like a madman like I used to? It's going to be a pretty awesome moment when the throne comes out, and I just fucking jump off of it and start running. I don't know when that's going to be, so I'm keeping the throne for now.
So in short, he doesn't know. It's a matter of when his docs say it's ok to do so, and when he feel comfortable. As he says, it's not like he can go from sitting to running, and he has to decide if he wants to just stand still and play. I'm thinking not, so he'll probably keep in it until he can properly move around again.

I don't even know what would be better for the Vienna Show I'll go to ?!

Throne? Hell yeah, it's a fucking FF Show with DG on a throne?! You'll probably never gonna see that again.

Without throne? It's also a nice Thing to see Dave running around and to see the Band playing on their rotating B-stage.

It's gonna be great with the throne and it's gonna be great without the throne, too.

As Simon said, he'll start running around again when he's comfortable to and he must know that pushing it too soon could cause longer term damage. That would be really shitty.

I think the Throne has become a big part of the 2015 tour and I'd love to see it whether DG needs it or not. There will be shows in the future where he'll be jumping around again

I hope he has it as a prop even when he doesn't need it. It's part of the tour now
