Default Foo's festival tour?!

Hey guys!,

What I've been noticing is that QOTSA are releasing tourdates for the summer. They play Reading and Lowlands.. This means that Them Crooked Vultures will have no activities this summer. At least, I guess so..

So, do you guys think that the Foo's will do the same? Or that they will just start recording their new record?

It would be totally awesome, if they did. More likely, though, Dave Grohl and the rest of the Foos will be recording more material for a new album. We'll just have to wait and see, though.

i dont think foo fighters and qotsa will be playing the same places. two headliners with nothing to promote probably to much for any festival.

Queens are playing Reading Festival, but aren't headlining, which is weird. God knows how Arcade Fire got a headlining spot instead. Anyway, I wouldn't be suprised if Foos made some sort of festival appearance.

TCV have three shows here in Scandinavia this summer so anything with the Foo's seems doubtful

I'd be in heaven if the Foos toured, but I also highly dout they will. At the same time, would be good to go to a QOTSA gig....

Because Arcade Fire are bigger than QOTSA?

The last AF tour in 07 was an arena tour which sold out, to my knowledge. The last Queens tour was an academy tour in 07-08. It's not unreasonable to say that AF are bigger than Queens, whether you like them personally or not.

Er, it was nothing to do with personal preference, I just had no idea they were that 'big'.

That's fair enough. I've never been too interested with AF really, I had no idea mainstream crowds were.

Personally, I'd rather they go record their new album than tour. Because if they do tour, chances are it would be the same old setlist. I can wait a year to see them if it means a better song selection

I completely agree with you - only, for me, it's because concerts aren't exactly in my budget.

QOTSA hasn't done anything new either, or am I wrong?
