That was a pretty shitty Come Together cover, mainly due to Daves vocals...

Good Helter Skelter cover though

Good find!

What a fun find. Imagine being at the club and all of a sudden, here's this surprise! It's a very fun surprise for me on a very rainy Saturday in NYC. Thank you for the links!

Haha I know right, I was hesitant to say it at first, thought I might cause a scene saying Dave did something wrong for once! I was shocked!

Very true, but if he's like it all the time why did it sound so bad comparitively in that clip? I just don't get the need to make excuses for him, so he was a bit off that night, he's not god, y'know?

Can't we just enjoy it for what it apparently was...a fun night out with his friends I'm guessing. I had fun with it and I am 3000 miles away. Who are we to say perfection should be a rule? Ever heard of it's only rock and roll and I like it? I'm just glad the man loves to have fun on a spur of the moment basis. Makes me smile even though I'm 3000 miles away. A half note or a missed word does not bother me in the least. Happy Sunday you guys. Spring ahead now!

I'm not saying Dave is amazing vocally nowadays, but he clearly wasn't putting much effort in here, just having a laugh with friends and a few fans in a little club. Look where he has his guitar as well, clearly not intending to play seriously up there on him.

It's only because of the modern digital camera YouTube era we can see these sort of things these days.
Ah yeah I do remember that

While we try not to get involved when people disagree, it still irritates the fuck out of me when people dis Dave on the website he pays for.

He was:

1. celebrating a friends birthday
2. doing a favor for a friend
3. having some fun

and finally, not really giving a shit what anyone thought about the above three things.

Let's just move on, shall we?

Yeah that's fair enough, I didn't know one or two beforehand, it wasn't supposed to be filmed so I doubt he was trying to do anything but have a drunk laugh. The Helter Skelter cover was awesome.

So you at a club expecting to see band X, but band X is a no show. You are bummed. While you are nursing your drink debating whether or not to leave, in walks one of the world's greatest/most prolific/famous rock stars (your favorite, no less!), who then gets his drunk ass up on stage with a dozen or more of his fellow musician friends on a TINY stage, plays whatever random guitar he can find, bodies are bumping, cords are being unplugged, and he rocks out four great songs, albeit the sound is off, but with GREAT energy and fun, and you want to say his vocals are sub par and fans deserved better.
