I checked the Livenation site, and there are also tickets that go for $50, does anyone know the difference between the $50 seats and the $170? There must be a pretty substantial difference, but I'm not sure what it is.

$50 seats are on the lawn, which is in rear half of the venue, and is general admission - first come first serve. $170 could get you anywhere from the front row (highly unlikely, as these are reserved for Bridge School friends and family) to 50 rows back, but at least it'll be your seat that you can leave and come back to as your leisure.

Having said that, if you stake out a place on the lawn with a blanket and walk away to get food, I don't think anyone is going to steal your spot.

I'll be in seats on Sunday, lawn on Saturday.

I still can't believe I'm actually going to be there. So excited.

I will be rocking on the lawn. Wish I could have managed a seat, but I've got 6 shows coming up and the travel costs are kicking my ass!

I just realized that Norah Jones got added to this thing, and there's a real possibility of seeing a duet of "Virginia Moon"

I'm watching the live stream now: http://www.youtube.com/bridgebenefit.../l/Az_13d5ss7U

Vedder is on right now.

Honestly? I think I did better staying home and watching it this way. The weather is just lovely in the Bay Area right now, but I'm in Berkeley. Getting to and from Mountain View would be a challenge unless I rented a car. I can donate that money to them instead.

I'm annoyed. My billing address is different from my address (cross-country moves muck things up), so I'm either going to have to enter that or mail my donation in. Looks like it's going to be a check.
