Default Wrigley Field

Does any know where i could get a bootleg for the chicago show? The sound wasn't great where i was and i missed so much of it, i'd love to relive it with better sound. I pieced together some stuff from youtube.

Not seen anything yet except for bits on YouTube. It seems for whatever reason taping of FF shows has been on a huge decline the last few years. This whole US run of shows we've only seen one taper, who got both of the Boston shows. Other than that, it's just the stuff you can find on YT.

Thanks. Yeah i didn't see much out there from the American Tour. If you see anything please let me know. I really wish Foo Fighters would sell their shows to members like Pearl Jam. I love listening to high quality versions of shows I've been to.

Is that because the band frowns upon taping, or is the fan base just not into full live-show recordings? I too have been looking, and have taped some shows in my time (other bands; this was only my 2nd FF show). I didn't bring my gear however, not knowing what policy was. Turns out that Wrigley didn't offer much in the way of a pat-down or security check (on the other hand, going to the White Sox game the night before was like going to jail, or something). Even so I probably wouldn't have taped due to the on-and-off-again rain.

Show sounded great from where I was, in the seats along the left-field foul line. Nice view of the stage and both video boards too.

Foo Fighters have never been an open taping band, it'll always say no devices on the tickets so you have to go stealth but as you say, venues rarely do too much to check and the band themselves don't mind it so long as you don't try to sell them and profit. Dave used to collect Nirvana bootlegs himself back in the day and comes from an era where they traded tapes of demos so he certainly gets it, he isn't going to go all Axl Rose on you if he spots you taping.

They've been well taped for most of their career, sometimes we've got a whole leg of a tour with at least one audience recording but for whatever reason this last couple of years tapers have just tapered off. They're either not taping, or we're just not finding them.

Bummer about the lack of enthusiasm for taping. Thanks for all the info however.

I tried recording the show on an iPod, but unfortunately the only thing that turned out was me singing along (very poorly I might add). I'm definitely no Mike "the Mic" Millard.

I would've thought that with 40K people there, someone would've been recording at Wrigley. Maybe one will show up. The weather wasn't the best for it though. Off and on showers.

I've mentioned a few times that I wish the band would release their live shows like on download.com like numerous bands do now. The equipment and everything is already in place. Maybe they'll catch up to what other bands are doing and realize we want to be able to buy the live shows. It's another revenue stream and wouldn't be that difficult to pull off.

The Wrigley security guys behind the barrier right in front of us shut down two people taping/videoing the show...they also clamped down on a few vapers.

They had four pro cameramen running in the pit in front of me as well as a few on stage side. They were filming for the live Jumbotron feeds, but hopefully they save that stuff!

Thanks for the link to the torrent! Unfortunately I can't download it to my mobile or chromebook. Would anyone be able to post it somewhere as a .rar? I would be forever indebted to whomever could do this for me.
