At the last show, a dealer brought a TON of vintage posters and promo stuff from the record stores he's worked in for years. For the 1st time, when I asked if they had any old Foo Fighters stuff he said yes!!

Been a while since I posted anything. Have snagged a few nice posters that I haven't photo'd yet.
EMEK LA Highway 2015 Sep 21 Gig 208 of 400 and Foil 22 of 25 - that I didn't have - both bought fairly cheap for $300. I haven't snapped these - its taken so long to find them I think I have a mental block I'm gonna damage them lol. A bunch of 20171012 Anthem DC JRogers posters including a 4 of 4 "Printers Proof". I was never very fussed over the image, but someone closish to Jermaine has pointed out you might want to look at it next to the RFK Harpies and ask "is there's any style or relevance going on" And as a special opening of the venue vs special event (RFK), and the style in drawing Dave, I see it. If he's asked and does something similar again it was a really good pointer. Otherwise a 4/4 for just over $100 - and a P/P is new to me (though I seriously don't want to touch the Trump link there LOL).  Related, more recent and actually still in transit - I thought I had a handle on all the EMEK variants - you see the gig foils and prints, then the AE artist edition std and foil runs he does through his site, then sometimes odd things like the 2015 Chicago BBall team foil that seems to have two numbered runs (I've put down to something with Wrigley management). But while lots of artists slide out A/P Artist Proof prints - often even as bonuses on web orders - you never see them by EMEK, so I assumed it was something he never shares. But he does - and far as I can tell you have to be in the industry and very close to him for years to get them - and then you prob get several of fuck all. This seller had/has utterly fucking crazy A/P stuff - and had no less than three sequential A/Ps for 2015 RFK - numbered out of just 20 - same number as one of the red foil runs - but for the green money poster. Pic is for 19 - I bought 18. $300 but already worth way more IMHO.  Lastly Zombie Yeti Idaho 2017. I love his work - the Chicago Metro secret gig poster is awesome. This one was also out there - it's very great in concept as way different to put the old school alien theme into a comic book setting, definitely cool, but just didn't totally "fly" as phenomenal when there have just been so many great posters... He did gig versions and I'd noted the three artist editions, but I was still OK to hold off and grab one some time cheap. But when you get the opportunity to do this you really cant say no... bit of talking, bit of negotiation and a bit less than $400... Artist edition: Standard 01/50 Foil 01/30 Black/White Line 01/05
