Default Wattershed

If I am feeling like jumping around then I play this record.

If I need some inspiration in the gym then I play this record.

If I need to get myself moving in the morning then I play this record.

If I need to wake myself up during the afternoon at work then I play this record.

This record fucking smashes it.

Still my number 1 song. It just rocks.

Prefer it live, the album version is great but the live versions in the early days were even better, more energy.

Definitely live, it's even faster and heavier. The version from Brixton 1995 is immense.

The very earliest versions are best IMO, from the first UK show onwards he started singing it a step higher. Also I wish we had more soundboard recording from 95. There are a lot of good shows probably unnoticed because of either bad quality recordings or none at all.

I'm sure I have mentioned it before but in 2012 I was in a rock club in Norwich (UK) called the Waterfront. When I asked the DJ for some FF I expected he'd play All My Life/Pretender but he stuck on Wattershed and the whole place just fucking erupted at those opening bars and everyone went mental when the main riff kicked in. Superb.

I think you did, yeah. It really is a song to just go mental to. I was so happy when they played it on the UK tour in 2007, until then I thought I'd never hear it in person. Then I get Weenie Beenie two nights later, which was great. Of course then I got both of those and a lot more at Reading last year, but the first time is always the best.

Wait, they didn't? Who the fuck was I watching then? I thought 'Dave' seemed a bit porky.

Funny how time flies, it really doesn't seem like nearly 18 months ago.

Awesome song, great riffs, enormous energy. Best song on the first record for me, and maybe the best Foo song all together.

I loved hearing Wattershed live in 07, it was brilliant. Wait. Was that really 7 years ago? Blimey.

Wish they'd play more like that. What a pipe dream.

They did Winnebago/Gas Chamber together at the one show I went to in '96.

I guess I misread something up top. I have actually listened to the show but it's been awhile.
I need to hear a lot of S/T songs next time I see them. I missed that boat in the 90s.

Honestly Reading was awesome, but drum sound sucks a lot. I wish they will do deeper stuff, but in way they done it before or somethin.
